Does it work with talk talk router

Hi there Ms. E. J. Kelly,Can you tell me the make and model of your Talk Talk router? Because Talk Talk uses a number of routers models I cannot say for sure whether Circle is compatible for you. Our list of known compatible and incompatible routers is listed here: https://support.meetcircle.com/is-my-router-compatible-with-circle Of course that list is not comprehensive. If you do not see your router there I would assume Circle works as we've found Circle works with a majority of routers. I'd love to hear directly from you about your router. Is this item to be plugged in anywhere that it can be seen/ or is accessible?

It can be placed anywhere with wifi reception. I plugged mine in the cuboard under the stairs, next to my wifi router.

I've just bought an Orbi and it has circle enabled but wants $4.99/month!, does this do the same for a one off payment?

Hey Steve.
I do understand that you are not satisfied with that. However I've never heard of circle charging a monthly fee, nor do they write anything about it on the box. Thats why it shouldn't be a problem if you decide to buy circle.

Can the child not just break the device  or disable it in some way ...some children would do this to continue playing Fortnite

I've got a 13 year old who would do anything to stay online. He has tried a number of methods to do so including downloading the circle app onto his phone (we learned to use the security code after that!) So far though it continues to elude him. I think if he were to take it to the bottom of the garden, the connection would be lost but he hasn't tried that yet. If he were to deliberately break it (I don't think he would)  I'd have to take the hub to work with me. I think there has to be some explanation that goes along with installation... "We're putting this in so we can restore some balance to your life; as adults we know that you need time on the pc and time off The consequence for damaging it would be that you would lose access entirely."

It is possible to get circle integrated with a router...break that and you break your own access to the internet. I've been pretty pleased with this version though.
