Nice, chunky tweezers, surviving my Nursery children's handling well- no-one has managed to break any which is always a good sign! Great for fine motor development and strengthening hand and fingers- we often use them in our maths area and the children pick up items from our open-ended shelves to put into numbered bowls (things like buttons, rubber sorting items, pennies, beads, gems etc.).

These are great for children to learn about nature and using their fine motor skills

I bought these for my nursery and they have helped children with developing their pincer grip ready for writing. They do have to be pressed with medium force to make them close together, but that is good for building children's strength in their fingers. We have used them to sort objects by classifying them into colours or types which has aided colour recognition and children's understanding of the world. We have also used them to get children to select X number of blue objects and put them in a red bowl, thus supporting mathematical development. We have played games to see who can use the tweezers to get the most objects into their container and then got the children to help record their own scores, thus giving opportunties for early mark making.

lovely bright, sturdy tweezers. they are robust enough to use in the classroom knowing they are not going to snap. they are quite stiff to use so would say best for 4 years and up. but a fantastic resource for fine motor skills development. i particularly like that these ones support correct pencil grip with the molded finger placements.

The box arrived promptly and intact in a box. The tweezers are large and accurate to the image above. I have yet to use these with my class, but I have sold these previously in a toy shop and they are extremely popular. Very sturdy and easy to use for children.

Well made and seem good quality. Arrived quickly. Purchased for my Childminding business and the toddlers do struggle to use them but that is probably due to their own motor skills not being quite up to the job yet!

Great for developing children's fine motor skills

These are a great dexterity tool that can also be useful. They are large enough to use with multiple fingers if needed/while learning. The colors are nice and they look good. They can withstand lots of use and have strong tips to pick things up. The design allows them to have a kind of springy effect for opening which is good for learning as well. They open wide enough to use on larger objects too. For practice purposes these are a great learning tool.

Perfect for a K classroom. We love to use them during our outdoor education program. So far, so good !
