Hi there it is indeed 100 bags and you should not be disappointed.

can these be put in the microwave?

I haven`t tried this as they were bought just for the freezer, but with all things polythene, I would not put this item in the microwave or any heat.

Are these food grade plastic?

The seller does say they are suitable for food. Food grade plastic is usually without dyes or made from recycled plastic. Personally I Am not in the least bit concerned as there are so many poisons in the air, this is very low risk. I wouldn't put acidic foods in them but I am happy with everything else. Just my personal opinion.
