Review: The wrong edition sent - While the stories were a delight to read when I was a child, I was disappointed to receive the 2007 edition instead of the 2021 edition pictured here, which is what I ordered. The 2021 edition was important to me as I am using these books for teaching and research into children's literature and the revisions and illustration are particularly important for me. I won't be returning the set as it would take too long to receive a replacement. Hugely frustrating.

While the stories were a delight to read when I was a child, I was disappointed to receive the 2007 edition instead of the 2021 edition pictured here, which is what I ordered. The 2021 edition was important to me as I am using these books for teaching and research into children's literature and the revisions and illustration are particularly important for me. I won't be returning the set as it would take too long to receive a replacement. Hugely frustrating.

Had them as paperback versions by DTV in German. I loved them much, saved my pocket money to buy tgem or had them for my birthday, easter present or for Christmas. They haven't lost one single bit of their charm.
