There are two types of bracket to connect to top of pool. One is for the inflatable top (left of pic) the other is for metal frame top (right of pic). Hope that helps.

I have 1.5 screw adaptors will this fit? So, once i take the inlet cover off will the blue adapter fit??

If you have the intex pump (intex 28638BS 1000 GPH 220 - 240 V Cartridge Filter Pump) or similar size and design it will fit through the pool wall where the pump fits, skimmer goes onto the inlet to the pump ( suction side ) it skims the pool runs through the pump and filter then back into pool from outlet in pool wall ( flow side of pump )
