Bought this for my Dad at 77 and suffering mini strokes and breaking his pelvis in a fall last summer his mobility isn’t great as he’s lost strength and muscle in his leg. Bought this to help improve his strength to help get the muscles in his legs and ankles stronger. It’s quiet ,very easy to use with a remote control and simple buttons to understand easily. He just gets sat with his book or the tv on,places his feet on the plates and sets it going with an automatic switch off after 15 mins he gets a good timed workout 2/3 times a day. It’s simple to use,sturdy and all in all money well spent to help my Dad regain his confidence walking about again!

My husband has only been able to walk a few steps unaided for years so his leg muscles are very weak. He’s delighted with this and says he can feel the effect on his legs. Time will tell how much difference it can make, and that’s the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars, but at least it gives him some exercise while sitting down. It’s got to be well worth the quite reasonable cost.

Arrived on time, well packed. Machine appears to be well made and sturdy. Has a decent lenght cable and come with a remote control with batteries provided. Works as described and fairly quiet. To early to say if doing me anygood.

Do not think they are that effective as an exercise machine

So far so good. Have used this since receiving yesterday and feel it is going to make a difference long term. Easy to operate, and use while watching TV. Can definitely feel circulation improving and this morning, the heel pain I usually had on getting up have diminished. The machine is quiet and easily stored next to sofa. Being 70 I hope my circulation will improve to help any vein issues that may otherwise cause me problems in the future. The different settings are mainly stride length rather than speed, so this may be why people feel it isn't vigorous enough. It's a yes from me!

3 months ago, my 86 year old dad dad was bed bound in hospital for a month and his legs lost all their muscle so he staggers around the house, stumbles and struggles with stairs/steps. I bought him this device in the hope it would do some good and have been amazed at the immediate effect its had. On his first 15 mins session he stood up and felt like he;d walked miles! he tells me that all his leg muscles feellike they have been worked and in 7 days (2 sessions a day) his legs have already strengthened and improved. My mum is now using it because she has circulation problems and a sore ankle and she too is amazed at the workout shes getting - genuinely impressed and my only complaint is that it is pretty heavy for an old person so we've set it up at a particular room/chair where they dont need to move it. To improve the design I would fit an extendable handle and 2 wheels so an older person can easily wheel it around

It is a refurbished item and Pacemaker unfriendly

Item received was a refurbished model, not mentioned in the description. Leg exerciser was in good clean usable condition. I would however liked to have known it was a refurb. It works well, not a lot of movement, at first I thought it was not doing then after a few goes my legs do feel better. I am in a wheelchair, unable now to walk at all. I have another leg exerciser with more movement, but this one is ideal for under my desk when using my PC. I would have given it 5stars if not for the lack of info about being refurb.
