I bought this as a gift for a friend who has a small patch of grass, not enough for a lawn mower. She was delighted with it. She said it made light work of it as it was very easy to use, light weight, extremely sharp and sturdy. She found it comfortable on her Arthritic hands, even easy to turn the blade a full 360 degrees though difficult to unlock the mechanism.

Good price and value for money. It is exactly what I wanted for cutting a small area of grass which is on a slight downward slope so difficult to use the lawnmower. Long blades, lightweight and easy to handle for a small female. I will definitely buy again. My overall review is 4 because this is the third time I have used it and the handles stick at times, but nonetheless still does the job. I might use wd40 as suggested by another reviewer.

Clever, rotating blades head, hand friendly tool, perfect for a bit of precision when trimming edges on gardens. If edging grass (or in my case, trimming weeds that grow out of the side of paving), you can get right in before applying weed killer or whatever (as you've guessed I am NOT Alan Titchmarsh). It's really about a tool that can get in close, trims with little effort and adjusts to cut at the angle required, price as well as weight when using, are also factors for me and this handy shed must have, fits the bill for me in spades (Geddit?). Excellent value, design and one of those items that make you wonder what you did without it.

This product has been brilliant until yesterday trimming edge of grass and the plastic pieces allowing the spring to turn has broken, it’s the round piece after the blades connecting to plastic on handles. I’ve spent ages on here looking how to report as broken but Amazon seems to have made this impossible, I would just like a replacement please, I can send pics or return product

Bought these as I didn’t want large garden shears. They are a smaller size but very functional. I like that you can change the direction from horizontal to vertical easily. They are sharp and comfortable to use. Would recommend.

Really a tale of two pairs of shears. The first pair arrived on time. Unfortunately, as some other reviewers have commented, the blades kept sticking after every third or fourth cut. This was despite cleaning after every use and the liberal application of WD40. Pretty irritating, so I responded to an after-sale email from the company expressing my disappointment. Their response was quick and sympathetic. After a number of email exchanges - including a video showing the problem - a particularly helpful chap called Julius offered me a refund or replacement. I decided to give them another go because I liked the design, functionality and price. The second pair have performed satisfactorily. Five stars for Julius and customer care, but only four for the product because of the initial hassle.
