Useful kit, easy to use, degasses well in vacuum chamber. Good working time and initial cure for me within 6 to 12 hours. Likely to have a slightly tacky feel when freshly cured, but after a day or two this disappears. Had no cure inhibition issues when testing several types of black pigments such as a leather dye and various paints. Quick response from seller when asking for shore rating, which is 15A.

This was a really easy to use product. I was making a large cast for a ceiling rose / ring to cast plaster replicas and it’s done a marvellous job. Only down side is cost and that it comes in too small a bottle. I had to purchase three lots to have enough to cover the ring. The silicone seems sturdy and I have been able to produce some great copies of the ring with good detail.

This is a good set for making your own small silicone moulds typically for resin art. Similar to resin kits this is a 2 part 50:50 mix up but definitely easier and less messy. There is 500ml each of liquid silicone and curing activator. Doesn’t smell as bad as resin but for my own safety i used a well ventilated area.You need a very flat and clean surface, there are some lego type bricks supplied to wall off the pouring area. Curing takes several hours so best left overnight, recommended up to 12 hours. Results are very good, this kit is great for making specific moulds you probably wouldn’t get elsewhere.Even though 1 litre sounds and seems like a lot, surprisingly the liquid silicone doesn’t go a long way. The kit is better suited to smaller or thin projects to get a decent coverage and thickness of finished mould.Expensive at £39.99 (at the time of review) but it can be used to make very specific or niche products and can be reused many times so only the end user of this kit can decide it’s true value.

This set says it's perfect for beginners, I would disagree. It does come with the liquid you need to make the moulds, but the rest is a little confusing, especially if you have never done this before, like me. The instructions are not the best, they are a small set on the side of the bottle. It doesn't come with any suggestions or really detailed instructions on what to do. I have had to search for an online video to get what I needed in order to actually make a mould. There's enough in this pack to make small moulds or one medium sized mould. Overall, it isn't easy to use and definitely not for beginners.

The products work well, giving a great silicone for moulding. However I expected more in the kit for the money, the quantity is not huge and the measuring cups are very small and not much use, (I resorted to using a paper cup and a scale) just seems lacking VFM in future I will compare cost/quantity

this is a very good clear mould making set has only slight smell but is not strong easy to mix and not many bubbles

If I could give this a - number I would do so, expensive, doesn't cure even after following the instructions to the letter, that's £30 literally chucked in the bin.

Bon durcissement du produit. A part le prix trop chère rien à dire.

Cest un matériau indispensable pour fabriquer des moules pour la resine epoxy. Cest ma 1ere fois avec le silicone et j'ai reussi. Donc je suis ravie car c'est facile à utiliser.

Nach den negativen Bewertungen hier war ich doch etwas verunsichert, ob ich es bestellen soll. Aber ich hab es dann doch getan und bin froh darüber. Das Paket war schon am nächsten Tag hier. Ein tolles Set, mit dem man auch sofort anfangen kann. Erst mal dann 1:1 gemischt und wirklich 3 Minuten ruhig umgerührt. Dann in die Form gegossen. Nach 4 Stunden war es schon komplett hart und ich konnte die Form entnehmen. Ich habe dann Epoxidharz eingefüllt und heute morgen konnte ich auch dieses schon nach 10 Stunden entnehmen. Fazit: Tolles Produkt. Einfach anzuwenden. Preis Leistung einfach TOP. Werde es auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.
