Elmo's World - Wake Up With Elmo [2008] [DVD]

Great little DVD. Typical Elmo fun. My three year old son loves Elmo and Elmo's World. Elmo's World focuses on one subject each episode and really helps to explain that topic to the kids. The topics are usually more like life lessons then school learning. For example on this DVD one topic teaches about getting dressed. Really helps them to figure things out on their own. This DVD comes with 4 different topics as depicted and explained. It's a simple DVD in that it doesn't have a lot of beginning commercials which I am happy about. I like the children's DVD's to get right to the point and so does my three year old.

My 16 month old daughter loves elmo. She loves every episode of this DVD and demands 'elmo' frequently. Elmo is such a lovely character and the short cartoon clips and input from mr noodle sustain her interest. She really loves how elmo always 'asks a baby' and tells me the baby is on tv. I think we will be watching this DVD for a long time as she never gets bored of it, only cries when it finishes!

Not enough of Elmo on the screen

my 21 month old little boy loves elmo and watches this, smiling and talking and asking questions. weak point are the brief animated cartoons at the end of each section. its great because each episode is dedicated to one basic activity, sleep, brushing teeth, dancing, with elmo and real children showing us what they do, and its funny too!

An excellent DVD which features the charming and hilarious (to my little fella) Elmo. He calls on his friends Mr Noodle to help out with plenty of jolly japes from him, drawer,TV and of course his faithful sidekick 'Dorothy the Goldfish', doesn't say much but has immense presence!! It helps in a fun way to tackle going to sleep, teeth cleaning, music and dance.

the elmos world theme takes a sesame street song and makes it easier to relate to if your child knows the words.. i would expect this dvd to be for younger audience but its more aimed at maybe children who can talk and get themselves dressed. although my 15 month daughter does like the dvd i think its to dfo with the characters rather than whats going on.

Kids like Elmo, funny and educative.

Anything Elmo is okay with my grandaughter
