Koss Foam Ear Cushions for Over-Head Portable Stereo Headphones (Triple Pack) - Black

*EDIT - This review was written before being invited to be a Vine Voice. I paid for it myself, I was not sent it for review. Also, I'm still using my Koss for shopping trios three tears later, just this time with a nice Bluetooth headphone amp. Purchased May 2020, edited Nov 2023, worn out one pair, current pair still looking good, still got a new pair in the packet. *Honestly, if you need to replace the foam on your Koss Porta Pro... it's time to treat yourself to better headphones, you deserve it.

The Koss headphones are excellent portable headphones. Their only problem is the same as many other headphones, good and bad, cheap and expensive, the foam pads fall apart. Why don’t manufacturers provide a spare pair with the headphones. Thank goodness for these excellent replacement pads that have avoided the need to throw away a quality pair of headphones. Not only that but there are two additional pairs to extend the life of the headphones. Great!

Do exactly what you need them to do. It's good to have a few pairs, just in case.If you don't want to put them to use on headphones, I've discovered children like to put them on their ears. Not sure how much use that is to you, but the more you know...

Got to koss are really great in sound quality, probably better than my (expensive) Monsters.Value for money, great sound. you cant make a mistake with Koss Porta pros. I have the classic version, might get the black one as well.

I was so pleased to have discovered these. If you have Koss headphones and the foam bits are always coming off, you may have previously purchased new headphones, as I have done for years. then i discovered these which now mean my Koss headphones last for years. Its really easy to fit the foam over the ear piece and three months later it is still there, it doesnt need glue or anything to keep it secure. a really good investment, saves you loads on headphones.

My Koss earphones are over 4 years old and the original ear cushions had disintegrated, these were a direct replacement. Excellent product here’s to another 4 years.

Not a lot to say, had headphones over a year and have not needed them, so don't get them till you need them. I'm sure they will match the quality of the ones on the headphones, don't fall apart or keep coming off like cheaper ones i have had.

Exactly as I expected. These are the real thing, fit perfectly my Koss PortaPro. Well worth the price.

やっぱり公式を買うのが1番ですね！カラフルなのを買ったことあるけど穴がデカくて外れやすかったりサクサクした素材で一年弱で経年劣化でポロポロ崩壊してきてびっくりしました。でも公式で色んな色出してないですよね？見つけられなくて。。自分は黒でいいんだけど需要ありそう。

I got the Koss PortaPro headphones when they were new, I think it was 1998. They're a really nice set of phones, BTW. Not studio monitors, but I worked in a boring lab job, and needed quality sound. Those delivered.That is, until, about 8 or 9 years later when the foam started disintegrating. I saw rotten black poly in my kid's ears when he borrowed them.These pads fit perfectly. They have been in place for almost 4 years now, and they have not disintegrated.I'm speaking directly to performance and longevity, now:A single set of these pads has been in place for almost 4 years, and has not started to break down.Granted, I use these in climate-controlled conditions only... but they're lasting so long, I don't even know where the package is.And the sound quality has not deteriorated in the least since this replacement. If anything, they restored the balance that was lost when the old pads degraded.I have and will continue to recommend these to friends._____________Update 2018:I just bought a new pack of these.I only used 4 of the first 6. My kid tore one, I lost another.The 4 that I used lasted almost 9 years. The second pair disintegrated almost completely after about 4.5 years of storage and 4 years of use.I consider that to be outstanding construction.However, I can also say that I would prefer a slightly lower-priced 4 pack of these, because I think that 9 years from now, I'm gonna have two pads left that I can't find, or are stiff from age without eve being used. Plus my kids grew up over the intervening time.
