Do you do 48mm in the brushes

You question in not clear. Depth of brush would depend on how the device were to be mounted.? Clearance?

the brush started to drift out of the plastic holder with use. We have to always kick it back. Any suggestions?

You could either crimp the end of the brush strip or just apply a little glue/silicone to the ends to keep it in place.

Does this work with a door mat. Would it slide over it

I use it on a hard floor it might work over a doormat
