I was very pleased with this product. It certainly does what it says on the tin, in that it removes metal contaminants from paintwork. I actually used it for something that was possibly above and beyond it's remit as someone asked us to decontaminate their van roof which had been left uncovered in a welding shop and was full of grinding dust. It certainly seemed to dissolve the vast majority of the particles. I think if I had used it on a normal amount of metal contamination, (e.g. brake dust on alloy wheels, which I think is it's main intended usage) then it probably would have removed everything, but as I was using it in fairly extreme circumstances, I needed to use a clay bar afterwards and then give the paint a buff to make sure everything was out. I do believe that if I hadn't used this product first, however, then I would have had difficulty removing the larger particles and would have potentially scratched the paint. This product does have quite a strong smell, but it's not as bad as the name suggests - I don't think it would bother most people if used in a well ventilated area.

Ive tried various different alloy wheel cleaners and this stuff in definitely the most effective stuff i've used. My wheels are a pain to clean as they are multi spoke, so i was looking for something i could just spray on, leave it, then power wash it off. On first application, it removed just about every spec of brake dust from the wheels, the front ones needed a second light coat with a bit of rubbing by brush but not much! My wheels are the cleanest they've been but im not sure i would apply this every time i wash the car. more like every 3 or 4 months as its so strong id imaging it'll effect the paint if you use it on every wash. Great stuff!

Good product but used it all first clean

Works a treat but the label warns you - its stinks! Only an iss ue when decanting into a spray bottle - recommend

Firstly, this stuff stinks, secondly it does its job, I was expecting more to be honest and the wheels come up spotless but a stiff alloy wheel brush and elbow grease was still needed to remove some old baked on brake dust and it didn’t get it all off either so required three further goes, I doubt it’s any better than regular allow wheel cleaner to be honest
