Good , but don't overdo tighten otherwise o rings will squeeze out, I added a little silicon for under mud install

Doesnt stop water || Bad design
The round blue gaskets which are supposed to seal the coupler and the outer sleeves (not the gasket that seals around the cable) are able to deform out of shape when tightening the sleeves, creating gaps for water to go in. Everything else is designed well and sturdy however this one design issue renders the whole thing pointless. Also, I was not tightening the sleeves too hard to cause this. If you buy these, you should use insulation tape over the gaskets after tightening to prevent water ingress.

Very well made and tough
Bought several of these because they are tough and reliable abeit a bit on the expensive side. Only time will tell how durable they will be, but their robust design looks very favourable in that respect.

OTTIMO SISTEMA PER USO ESTERNO.
Ho avuto l'occasione di installare l'accoppiatore in un pozzetto dove era presente quello interno con protezione da nastro isolante.. un vero schifo.. tramite l'intersezione ho finalmente risolto sia il problema del restringimento che di umidità passi praticamente 0. Consiglio di utilizzare cavi di rete con doppia guaina per uso esterno e plug cat6 con gommino per una lunga durata. TUTTO PERFETTO!! Grazie

Don't over tighten.
Excellent product. Do not over tighten the ends and you are fine. I have several in operation working on a farm where cables have been cut by accident due to renovations. They have survived an East coast Canadian winter (lots of ice and snow). Thread your Ethernet cables in to the device first before terminating them. It does not matter if you use EIA568B or A wiring standards on the RJ45 connectors because at the centre of this item is a pass through connector wired 1 to 1. You need to make sure that you use the same wiring standards at the inbound and outbound sides of this connector so that the same wiring standard continues across this device.
