NECA 42055 Robocop ED-209 Fully Poseable Deluxe Action Figure with Sound, 25 cm

NECA ROBOCOP 1987 ED-209 This is the ultimate collectors piece if your a huge fan of the original Robocop movie, ED-209 the defective law enforcement cyborg has never looked so good, amazing detail all around and a good strong quality build and very nice paintwork! There is movement and articulation in the arms and waist and legs for a few limited cool poses. Stands at around 8inch tall and is approx 8inch wide depending how far apart you have the arms. A great piece for any fan. The box is also very cool with some amazing art all around front back and sides.

“Absolutely fantastic” - Those were the words my wife uttered, when she saw that I’d completed my Robocop shelf, at least that’s what I choose to believe she said, haha. Awesome product, although the voice is a little loud and distorted, but I’ve bought this for the display factor, so, for me that’s kinda irrelevant. It’s completely movie accurate, but it feels kinda fragile, again, it’s fantastic for displaying, so I love it. Thank you, my display is now complete, my wife is sooo happy 😂

I really, really wanted one of these for a long time and finally....I now have one. Firstly the model is extremely well packaged and took several minutes to liberate it from all the wire ties. In fact it was so well packaged I damaged the model a little (one of the wires came loose from the left arm). A tiny amount of glue was needed to put right, but no drama. So take care when extracting the model from the wire ties. The model itself is very impressive indeed! While not having as many points of articulation as the much more expensive Hot Toys equivalent, there is enough to make some and effective menacing poses. The level of detail and quality of the paint work is excellent, everything is as it should be. The movie sounds are 100% accurate and nice and clear, unlike the Hot Toys version. To sum up, an absolute must buy for fans of Robocop. My only criticism is that some of the parts are a little fragile, which if your model is going into a cabinet or on a shelf for viewing, not a problem. If you're going to handle this model a lot, I suspect you'll find little pieces breaking off at some point.

The detail on this model is amazingly high, it can be moved in so many ways that it would even be possible to use it for stop motion animation(if you've got the time to try). Only negative thing worth mentioning is the packaging it comes in a large high quality box, but is so hard to remove from that, that the process seemed to take me over five mins of fiddling about and cutting with scissors. So definetly a "toy" for 16s and over only. If you can afford it and like me are a big fan of this classic 80s film apart from the packaging issue it's well worth investing in and looks great on your bookshelf or desk.

I used to love this film as a kid, aside from Robocop, ED-209 was so cool and menacing. Not only is this figure very good quality, the sound effects brings back the shivers I got down my spine as a kid when hearing his voice. The sound effects are very loud, and the articulation is adequate to pose him Next to Robocop. Also, I found Amazon was the cheapest around.

I collect as many NECA products as I can, anything from the 80's in particular and this was a must buy for me. When it came - the first thing that hit me was how beautiful the box was designed - I love the artwork on it. I don't open my figures, but had to slide this out of the box - I did pay 60 quid for it, the least I can do is look at it. The box rattled....My first broken NECA product? There was a tiny wee flap, like an exhaust port flapping about in the bottom of the box. I now had the monumental task of removing ED from his twisty tie prison, There are ALOT of these, so patience will be required. When I had the figure out, I noticed just how brittle it is. It is a display piece, and it feels like one. Hallow and brittle. Detailing, paint and overall design is pure class though. I had to glue the flap onto the back of his leg and after trying the joints, they all move OK but feel seriously fragile. I didn't try the sound feature, but heard it is very poor. I returned the item to its box and felt content with my purchase. It is overpriced though. I got the Spider-Gremlin for £45 and the details and attention paid to that figure was stunning, its a real work of art. I feel if the sound feature was removed, and this was sold for around £45 also, I would have bumped it up to 5 stars.

Edd 209 is very good but it arrived damaged the foot was broken off and I have no idea why the box had washing powder all in it. Not happy as it cost over £80 with delivery costs ( and arrive daylight )

YES FINALLY! a reasonably priced figure of Neca's ED-209 (have seen the higher end versions released by HOY TOYS) but this is value for money (it was for the price I paid at the time,however they will vary depending on seller etc ED-209 is very detailed a very good likeness to the real thing BUT!....I agree not suitable for children, just for 17 years upwards (as seen on the packaging) I say this because the areas particularly around the gun barrels are a little fragile so is best for display & not really rough handling whilst playing out the scenes with Robocop figure (of which i also purchased) ED-209 also has sound feature so you can hear his iconic phrases like "Please put down your weapon you have"......well you know the rest SO I would recommend this for fans of the Robocop franchise

El modelo es precioso, definitivamente una gran adicion a mi colección. Lo único es que desearia que los "dedos" tuviesen articulación. De resto no cambiaria nada. Tengan en cuenta que los demás elementos artículados pueden estar muy duros al principio y quizás convenga tener lubicracion

O produto foi entregue em tampo hábil, a peça é bonita, porém peço que você me confirme o produto, uma vez que nos detalhes técnicos fala que pesa 2 kg, o que não tem, e que é de metal, sendo que é todo de plástico.

El vendedor envió el producto de inmediato. El paquete llegó rapidísimo y en perfecto estado, incluyendo la caja. Cero golpes ni raspones de ningún tipo, se aprecia que el producto estuvo resguardado correctamente antes de la venta. Sobre el modelo... es MUY bueno, realmente bueno, tiene un gran detalle y las articulaciones no están flojas o desgastadas en lo absoluto, al contrario, son bastante firmes, así que se mantendrá en la posición que elijas durante mucho tiempo. Neca ha mejorado bastante el detalle y calidad respecto a otras figuras, quizás el único detalle cuestionable es el empaquetado interno: el blister plástico original que rodea la figura no tiene demasiada amortiguación y hay posibilidad media que se dañe el modelo si la caja recibe un trato algo duro. Aún así, 100% recomendable.
