Failed after 9 months
VERY POOR QUALITY - This unit failed after just 9 months, the previous one it replaced lasted only 14 months! I've purchased a mannose unit to replace it.

Good, simple design.
I initially bought the version with a timer. Unfortunately the port between the wet airflow and the electronic timer was not sealed and the fan died in a year. I obtained a free replacement, without timer. The design might have been changed. The replacement has lasted 7 years, apparently failing through being clogged with accumulated dust. A filter is obviously desirable for the replacement.

It lasted 20mins before it failed.

TD-160/100T Fan
This fan does exactly what the manufacturer states. However the life of the fan motor based on my own experience of replacing four is 21 months. Replacing the motor is easy due to the design but the running costs work out at around 13p per day just to replace the motor which is not fair value. Note this review is based on the motor with a timer. I have no knowledge of the identical motor without a timer.

The photo listed is of a different, more powerful model. The TD160/100 is a small, weak fan which doesn't have anywhere near the grunt of the Manrose MF100T.

El producto corresponde con la descripcion. Lo curioso es que habiendo sido fabricado en España, el paquete viene a España desde Letonia... cosas de la globalizacion: lo que es incomprensible es que sea menos caro habiendo recorrido medio mundo

Zu allererst die schlechte Nachricht: Nach 1 3/4 Jahren mit sehr viel Betrieb ging der Lüfter leider kaputt. Es gab keine Hinweise darauf, dass es an schlechter Verabeitung oä lag. Vermutlich habe ich ein "Montagsprodukt" erwischt. Und nun die vielen postiven Seiten: Der Lüfter: ist wirklich leise ! Er war sogar auf Holz (Resonanzkörper) bei 3/4 der Leistung ungefähr auf dem Lautstärkepegel eines PCs und man hört ihn außerhalb des Zimmers überhaupt nicht. Von der Leistung hat er definitv seinen Zweck erfüllt und Geruch aus der Werkstatt (mit einem Aktivkohlefilter) sehr schnell beseitigt. Der Service: Sehr schneller und freundlicher Kontakt zum Hersteller (innerhalb eines Tages geantwortet) und mir wurde kostenlos ein Ersatzmotor geliefert. Das ganze Gespräch war auch noch auf Deutsch, was die Sache auch sehr einfach gestaltet hat. Klare Kaufempfehlung !
