Review: Seems to help heal sores, especially ones from poor blood flow. - Before medicine had a lot of medicines, people used to use this to help with vascular issues and to heal sores. The trouble is that it doesn't stay in the system long. it is a flavonoid and converts to quercetin in the gut. IT helps with inflammation, is an antioxidant, and helps protects blood vessels and strengthens capillaries. It seems to help me heal faster. I don't know how much is safe to take in a day, studies have used up to 600mg. Since it doesn't stay in the system long, perhaps a lower strength, taken more often during the day. But there is no study on long term usage when I last checked, which was years ago. It may impair the ability of warfarin to thin the blood, and it may improve the ability of NSAIDs for pain relief. So check with your doctor. Review: Postpartum hems - Postpartum and breastfeeding! Hemorrhoids, ugh. I Take one capsule with vitamin C and B-complex for better absorption. Takes few weeks to work, but hey, this saved my butt. My proctologist was ready to offer procedures and now there is nothing to band! I take it in AM after breakfast. I’m also on MiraLAX and magnesium, so constipation wasn’t an issue. My baby’s gut wasn’t affected either. I’ve seen midwife’s recommending it even during pregnancy, but my issue started PP. ## Features - Rutin is a bioflavonoid related to quercetin and hesperidin found in both citrus and non-citrus fruits, as well as other foods such as buckwheat - Rutin is a powerful combatant of free radicals and is best known for its role in vascular health.* - Rutin helps to maintain the structural integrity of blood vessels, such as veins and capillaries* - Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food - Packaged in the USA by a family owned and operated company since 1968 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001B452U2 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Allergen-Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,379 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #439 in Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements #1,505 in Sales & Deals | | Brand | NOW Foods | | Brand Name | NOW Foods | | Color | Yellow/Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,029 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegan | | Dosage Form | Capsule | | Flavor | Citrus | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00733739007353, 08720634112536 | | Item Dimensions | 2.25 x 2.25 x 4.38 inches | | Item Form | Capsule | | Item Weight | 3.2 ounces | | Manufacturer | NOW Sports - Nutrition and Wellness | | Manufacturer Part Number | 0735 | | Material Features | GMO Free | | Model Name | See packaging | | Model Number | 0735 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Primary Supplement Type | B-Complex | | Product Benefits | Immune Support | | Recommended Uses For Product | Free Radical Scavenger* | | Specific Uses For Product | Heart | | UPC | 733739007353 | | Unit Count | 100 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** NOW - **Diet Type:** Vegan - **Flavor:** Citrus - **Item Form:** Capsule - **Item Weight:** 3.2 ounces - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 2.25 x 2.25 x 4.38 inches - **Primary Supplement Type:** B-Complex - **Product Benefits:** Immune Support - **Unit Count:** 100 Count ## Images ![NOW Supplements, Rutin 450 mg, Free Radical Scavenger*, 100 Veg Caps - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71S3ex0JwvL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to help heal sores, especially ones from poor blood flow. *by C***F on June 27, 2026* Before medicine had a lot of medicines, people used to use this to help with vascular issues and to heal sores.
