In operation the computer is very quiet -we are talking Dell like quiet here
I received the compute from Germany well packed and once connected up worked straight from the box. In operation the computer is very quiet -we are talking Dell like quiet here. Be prepared for many hours of updating to the latest version of 10 -think mine took around six hours over three days. Initial impressions of the computer are favourable – obviously a 1.5 quad with 4GB of ram is not going to pull up trees but is more than capable to meet most people's needs including mine. I should mention that I was going to buy a reconditioned one for around £100(circa 2009) but am more than happy that I have ended up with this one with modern graphics (HDMI socket), faster CPU and USB3 -even the sound coming through my sound system is much better than I have been used to. So once I have fully worked out Windows 10 (have been using XP) I am sure I will be very happy with my purchase. The computer case supplied looks smart and functional. May add a DVD RW in time but I am in no hurry. Only question now is its longevity - but see no reason why it should not last given its reported low power consumption of around 30 watts (less heat). Internally it looked no better or worse than any mass manufactured computer and the cable management systems seemed satisfactory to me. If it lasts around 4/5 years I will feel that the computer owes me nothing but time will tell (The 2 year warranty also helps my confidence in the computer). I will report back if problems are encountered with the computer.PS I would recommend that a recovery drive is made ASAP as the blurb says you can reboot even a non-working computer and reinstall windows 10 if you need to which is very comforting in the absence of a Windows 10 DVD. Also change the region/keyboard to the UK so that the keyboard works properly ie £ sign displays. So as things stand I am pleased with my purchase and may well replace another XP desktop computer in the near future and would give this seller every consideration.

Second time around - works well
I use computers for standard Office tools, and music and movie streaming. So I don't really need a state of the art device. My old XP was sufficient until it started to play up in early May, So I needed a replacement. I already had a mouse, keyboard and monitor so all I needed was the computer itself. My first attempt at a replacement was the most basic Shinobee model. Unfortunately it rebooted several times a day and after a few days of trying to remotely find a fix, had to be replaced. This was a painful process, despite effective responses from Shinobee. (If your new PC starts to randomly reboot - don't even bother to look for a fix - send it back immediately) I don't know how many Shinobee PC's have problems out of the box but if you are thinking of ordering from Shinobee, this is something to be aware of.The replacement Shinobee was the next model up - the one with the 1tb hard disk - and it has worked fine for my needs. Simple to set up and use. It does what is claims it can do. I am not an intense gamer or use video-editing, and I would guess that it is too slow to satisfy people needing a very fast machine. There is another Shinobee model for multi-media support,I am happy with the machine I now have and hopefully it can carry on providing service for several years.

Great price for what you get
What a great PC. I was looking to replace my desktop which was 7 years old. The PC arrived on time, well packaged and with good set up instructions. It does indeed have Windows 10 installed on it. It runs very quietly and so far I've only ran basic programs on it but it goes fast and the processor seems good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because it says it comes with Microsoft Office, but it isn't. It is Libre Office Suite. It'll do the job if you're just wanting to blast out the basics. If you're already used to the Office package and rely heavily on it to do your work then it would probably be time consuming to learn how to make the Libre suite work. As for me, I didn't buy it for work, I bought it for fun so I am unlikely to use all that stuff anyway. All in all, a great PC and it has to be said, the price is amazing. I was expecting to have to pay 400 to get a PC this good and ended up getting one for 300.I had also never heard of Shinobee before and took a punt on it. Their customer service has been great. They even emailed me to ask how I was getting on with my new computer and see if everything was working, which I'm pleased to say it is!

it looked as though it was not running Windows 10 as the start screen matched Windows 7 because a third party start menu program (Classic Shell) was installed and set as the default - fortunately I recognised it but others might find it confusing
Still early days but stable so far. At the price it represents outstanding value. Windows 10 as installed is a very early version so be prepared to allocate quite a bit of time for updating but mine got there eventually, including the Fall update, without any hitches. NB - when first started, it looked as though it was not running Windows 10 as the start screen matched Windows 7 because a third party start menu program (Classic Shell) was installed and set as the default - fortunately I recognised it but others might find it confusing.

Setting up was quite easy. The problem I had was my keyboard did not work correctly and it was showing that I was making a few spelling mistakes. What I realised after a while was that the whole set up was set up American style. That is why the keyboard was wrong and my correct spelling was showing how I should spell it in America. Even the date was the wrong way round, showing the year first. I sorted it out eventually. I downloaded the English language which corrected everything.
