Mould Spray - Effective Black Mould & Mildew Cleaner, Removes Stains – 500ml

I was initially skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but this HG Mould Spray truly amazed me. I had visible mould patches on an internal wall near the skirting board, and after spraying it and leaving it to work, the mould started disappearing without the need for heavy scrubbing. The difference was honestly “before and after” level. It’s very easy to use, effective, and saves a lot of effort compared to other products I’ve tried. Just make sure the room is well ventilated while using it, as the smell is quite strong (as expected with mould removers). Overall, I’m extremely happy with the result and would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended!

I’m genuinely impressed with the HG Mould Spray. It does exactly what it promises and works incredibly fast. I used it on stubborn black mould and mildew in my bathroom (around the shower seals and tiles), and the results were visible within minutes. The stains lifted without any heavy scrubbing, leaving the surfaces looking clean and fresh again. The spray is easy to apply, clings well to vertical surfaces, and covers a good area. A little goes a long way, so the 500ml bottle feels great value for money. While the smell is strong (as expected for a powerful mould cleaner), it clears quickly with ventilation and is absolutely worth it for how effective the product is. What I really like is that it doesn’t just mask the problem — it actually removes deep-set mould stains and restores surfaces to their original appearance. Perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and any damp areas. Highly recommended if you’re dealing with mould or mildew and want a reliable, professional-level cleaner that actually works. Good product, removes moulds fast. But 4 stars as peeling my walls and has very strong smell.

This stuff is so good!! We have a wet room with a non slip floor that collects mould terribly it’s been really difficult to remove with other products and a lot of scrubbing! This stuff you just spray on leave for 30 minutes and then rinse.. the bathroom has never been so clean it has restored everything the tiles and grout are bright white and the floor is perfectly clean despite the rough surface I couldn’t be happier with the result!! It’s easy to apply just spray and rinse no scrubbing!! I consider it great value as I’ve used so many other cleaners without the results!! I’ve ordered more it’s a good sized bottle it will last a while but it’s so good I don’t want to run out. It does smell strongly but I like it it’s a clean smell just ventilate the area while you use it and it’s not an issue!! Best by far in my opinion!!

Brilliant stuff. Works in minutes, just spray on. Ventilate the room though. Its got a very strong bleach smell and will burn your eyes.

We don’t have a window in our bathroom and the extractor fan isn’t great, so we get quite a bit of moisture build up and therefore a recurring mould issue. We had mould all the way round the bath sealant, on the tiles next to the shower and on the ceiling above the shower to the point where I thought we were going to have to replace the sealant and repaint the ceiling. I applied the mould spray all over the affected areas and I could see it starting to work after only a few minutes. After 30 minutes all the mould had completely gone with no need to wipe, I just used the shower head to give some of the areas a rinse down and that was it. It’s very impressive stuff to a dullster like me. It hadn’t just masked over the mould, it had actually eaten away at it. It will be interesting to see how quickly the mould returns if at all. One thing I will say though is that it absolutely stinks of chlorine and I’m glad I chose to use it on a day that my daughter was at nursery. The smell is horrible and can be quite overwhelming. I was wearing a pair of gloves as instructed and a full face mask (the kind you would wear if you were spray painting a car) and I could still smell it. Even with all the upstairs windows and doors wide open you could still smell it for hours after and it even lingered into the next day. It actually left me feeling quite short of breath at points and I had to leave the house, so if you have a breathing condition or are quite sensitive to smells then I do not recommend this stuff to you. If you have a baby or young children I would make sure that they are out of the house while you use this or at the very least a different floor to the one you’re using it.

I used this on black mould that had built up around the silicone and grout in our bathroom, particularly in areas affected by condensation. I sprayed it on as directed and left it to work, and the results were excellent! the mould visibly faded and then cleared with very little effort. In areas where the mould was heavier, I needed to repeat the process, but it still worked well and saved me from having to replace the silicone. It does have a strong smell, so good ventilation and gloves are a must, but that’s expected with a product this effective. Once the mould was fully removed and everything was clean and dry, I followed up with a mould prevention spray to help stop it coming back. Using the two together feels like a much more long-term solution rather than just treating the surface. Overall, this is a very effective mould remover especially when used properly and followed by a preventative treatment. Definitely worth having on hand for stubborn bathroom mould.

It's rare that I'll leave a review but thought this deserves one! We live in a rented house and the kitchen and bathroom are in a cold extension. No matter how much we have the heating on, open the windows, wipe down with bleach etc it is always a battle at this time of year 😕 I read the reviews and decided that this was worth a try at a reasonable price. I was sceptical and when first sprayed on thought there was little chance of it actually working. Half an hour later there was some improvement so I sprayed again and left it to do its magic. The result after that was pretty good! Not 100% perfect but it had its work cut out so I'm very pleased and will continue to use it 😊 Please see before and after photos
