The tube has to be concentric otherwise the unit will be crushed and will not operate. **Q: On a bathroom fan extractor assembly through a loft is it necessary to tape up the joints and if so, what's the best tape to use?** A: If your joining the tube to extraction fan and oven extraction i used a cable tie.
