Q: Do they make your hands bigger?

In response to a previous answer: there ARE muscles in your hands but you are unlikely to bulk-up using these bands. As the aforementioned contributor said: you are more likely to see changes in your forearms (depending on what exercises you do).

Ironmind manufactures thier bands, sell them to me and then I sell them to you. This creates and expensive chain of distributors and couriers before the product reaches you. The Ripper Bands come direct from a manufacturer.

Q: How are these different from the fashionable wristbands you see people wear?

The "fashionable" wrist bands are very thick and I would image too hard to open unless your super strong. The white band is very easy and the red very hard with the others fitting between. This allows you to track your training.
