hi i am interested in this wheelchair but its vital that the footrests swing all the way to the side of wheelchair for easy entry - can anyone confirm?

Yes they slide back - and come off or transport so that they don't swing. When you get the chair, you just need to slip the footrests onto the already screwed on screws. I stupidly spent 2 hours trying to work out how to do this (there were no instructions)

How much does chair weigh

Sorry not sure and it at mother in laws 70 miles away. However my wife is 70 only 5' 3" and lifts it in and out of her Mini and pushes her Mum OK, had it for about 18 months or so seems user friendly. Hope that helps.
