Bought as a gift for a referee who says other referees look at his whistle with envy. He didn't realise what a quality whistle it is until he got comments from them. Sadly, in looking for a gift for him, I discovered there is a whole world of different whistles for different uses and now I feel like an uber-geek.

Great whistle, comfy grip.
Whistle is loud, easy to use and the grip makes holding the whistle whilst taking notes and giving cards so simple. Hardly noticed it was there. Finger grip could be adjustable for people with little or sausage fingers, but otherwise great.

Effective and great Fox40 quality
Came fast. Though not the most heavily protected and shipping. These are Fox 40 referee whistles. I use them particularly for Airsoft. Because of their sharp pitch I am heard across the combat zone in our smaller Fields quite easily. And it is great. So much better than shouting across the field and putting yourself into a lost voice situation. Only had two slightly stretch the brass finger positions to be able to wear it while still in my combat gloves. The main body is plastic so keep that in mind that it won't exactly take a lot of punishment. And the rubber bite is not meant for extreme amounts of pressure either. But I have accidentally lost one for several weeks. We found it cleaned it up and it works like brand new. Only a little bit of dirt got into it and it acted like it didn't really notice it
