This the 3rd one I've purchased from this amazing seller. I've included a picture of the first one I purchased in 2014. It's aged beautifuly and the leather is so soft now. Loving the new one that's arrived too! Smells of "new" leather and had a different but intricate design ebosed.Just thought I'd leave a small business a nice review, thank you for a great product! 💛

I love this journal. I bought one for myself and one as a gift (sorry, I couldn't resist!) It is a beautiful product of the highest quality. I have been writing in it for awhile now and really enjoy the experience. People do need to be aware of a few things when looking to buy it, though:1. It really is 11 cm x 16 cm. That means it is about a cm taller and an inch wider than my galaxy note phone. What I'm trying to say is that this is not a big desk journal, or even an average A5 book. It is more pocket size (except for the fact that it is over an inch thick).2. This is handmade paper - expect scratchiness and stains. That's what adds to the character. Also be very careful in your choice of pens. A normal ballpoint or gel should be fine.3. The cover is real leather. So when you open the book for the first time, wipe down the insides of the front and back cover so you don't stain your hands.4. This has bunches of paper stitched to the spine so you cannot lay it flat.Know what you're getting going in. If you do buy it after that, you will not be disappointed. And you'll have done a good deed for a tiny cottage industry.

This made for a great gift for a friend's birthday. The embossing is wonderful, and the raw, slightly imperfect paper adds to the handmade feel that gives it its charm. I cannot comment on how the paper was to write on as I have left this blank for a friend, but it's worth bearing in mind that the paper is fairly coarse, raw paper, so my assumption is that it could end up blotting with fountain pens etc, but a ballpoint or pencil would of course be fine. Tempted to get one for myself!

It is my fault for not reading the full discription more closely but It is not the size of a Journal.... it is a NOTE BOOK, so why do you call it that?. Very pleased with it otherwise except that due it's size it is not fit for the purpose for which I bought it. The hand made feel and quality of it is very good, I would love to have it in a larger size if it is available. A quality product.

I bought one of these for myself to jot down little proverbs and quotes that I like.I love it because it has the look and feel of an ancient book.The fastener looks medieval and the whole thing is like something from Harry Potter or Game of Thrones.The unlined recycled cotton paper adds to it's old feel.My friend saw the book and admired it. So I have bought this one as a gift fir them.It is expensive for such a small sized book but it is hand sewn and is overall very nice.

My journal arrived within 2-3 days, I was very impressed with the postage and packaging. It was quite a pleasant shock when it came so early.The design wasn't the same as the picture, but it's beautiful none the less. The design I have on mine is actually better than the picture, so I'm not going to reduce stars as it worked out better for me. The paper is beautiful too and is difficult to write on, but so worth it. It would make an amazing gift for someone who loves to write or record their thoughts.What I love the most, is that the book is nice and thick. It has plenty of room and pages, and is the perfect size for carrying around with you yet, honestly, it's light as a feather. It looks heavy but is so light. It makes a nice change from the heavy journals you can get on the high street that have a 3rd of the pages this journal has, but 5x as heavy. Just love it.

Its fine for writing, but the paper quality doesnt take well to pencil and sketching. Aside from that it is sturdy and looks very nice

I've bought a few notebooks similar to this over the past year or two from different sellers and they've all been good. This one, however is the best I've purchased so far due to the quality of the workmanship that's gone into making it. The leather cover is sturdy, yet the detail is beautiful. There was a loose sheet of paper at the front and back of the book which I assume has been put there to protect the pages from any staining from the leather cover while in transit. The only thing I would point out regarding the paper would be the fact that it didn't go well with my fountain pen as it was very absorbent, but this wasn't an issue for me whatsoever and I chose to use a ballpoint instead. This would make a lovely gift and I'll be buying again.

Bonita libreta.Papel de calidad con buen grosor. Al principio me pareció un poco pequeña pero suficiente para llevar en el bolso cómodamente.Las primeras hojas cuestan más de escribir por la apertura de la libreta, que pesan las hojas.

Das Buch kam einen Tag früher als erwartet an. Die Materialien fühlen sich sehr hochwertig an und wurden sehr gut verarbeitet.Die angegebene Größe passt auch.Es ist etwas dunkler als erwartet, was bei einem Naturprodukt wie Leder natürlich ist. Man muss schon mit der Nase an das Buch herangehen, um einen Geruch feststellen zu können.Die Seiten sind schön dick und reißfest. Sie sind nicht alle gleich groß, was aber kaum auffällt und mich nicht weiter stört. Entgegen meiner Erwartungen kann ich mit meinem LAMY Füller sehr gut auf den Seiten schreiben. Mit einem Kugelschreiber funktioniert das auch sehr gut.Wenn man mit dem Bleistift nicht kraftvoll aufdrückt, lassen sich die Striche auch ganz gut wegradieren.Fazit: Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich für den Preis ein so tolles, brauchbares Notizbuch finde und bin positiv überrascht. Für meine Zwecke ist es mehr als ausreichend. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Magnifique carnet de voyage.La couverture en cuir est bien épaisse et résistante, le motif est exactement identique à celui du visuel du site. Parfait.Le papier intérieur est fait à partir de chutes de tissus issues de l’industrie, qui sont recyclées ainsi. Les pages ont donc un aspect unique, et aucune ne ressemble à l'autre. Je n'ai pas encore fait d'essais de stylos de différentes natures, mais je pense soit utiliser un stylo bille, ou un crayon à papier. J'ai peur que l'encre ne fuse... Mais je me trompe peut-être.Le fermoir est assez fragile: le premier que j'ai reçu était cassé net et ne pouvait vraiment pas être réparé. Comme c'était pour faire un cadeau, je ne pouvais pas me permettre de l'offrir cassé. J'ai contacté le vendeur qui a été ultra réactif, et qui m'en a envoyé un autre sur le champ. Le carnet de remplacement est arrivé dans les temps pour être offert, et sans la moindre égratignure cette fois.Non seulement j'apprécie la démarche du vendeur, mais je suis ravie d'avoir fait grand plaisir à la personne qui a reçu le carnet de voyage en cadeau.Je pense que je me laisserai tenter par un carnet différent pour moi, car la démarche recyclage et promotion d'un travail équitable me plaisent aussi beaucoup.

I love this book. I use it for my water color brushes. The pages are nice and thick so the markers don't bleed through at all. The make of the book is excellent! I love it!!!!
