Moleskine Classic Ruled Paper Notebook, Soft Cover and Elastic Closure Journal, Color Black, Size Pocket 9 x 14 A6, 192 Pages

I've purchased a few Moleskines on Amazon that have turned out to be fakes (not as soft, wider line spacing, whiter paper). So, buying Moleskines on Amazon is always a risk but I really couldn't be bothered to go into town. But this one, thank goodness, is real. I bought the dark green and it's BEAUTIFUL. Writes like a dream. Perfect for my next writing project.

I’m a sucker for a Moleskine, love the soft cover, the colour and elastic closure. It’s a handy size, so no complaints.

There is not much to say, this is a typically beautiful Moleskine notebook. Great colour and lovely feel to it.

The perfect notebook for me with great spacing, quality paper and cover - I am on my 5th one and having tried many, it is the only one I buy.Beware that the listing is incorrect, it's 192 pages, not 240 pages as noted above - hopefully they fix it.

I've been using and loving Moleskine notebooks for years, they are great quality notebooks! This particular advert states A4 but has the dimensions of the XL which is much smaller than A4. The first one I ordered this year was the proper A4, but the second was the smaller version, I sent it back and a new smaller version was sent out... I'm not happy as it does state A4 and I didn't think I needed to get a ruler out to start checking measurements, but obviously that is the case now. As much as I love them they are very expensive for what they are so only 3* for value for money but will probably be looking at alternatives now I know I'm paying even more for the A4 size...

Used these for years, never disappointed

Classic notepad, you cannot go wrong with Moleskine! It has very soft leather cover and very nicely lined sheets inside.It's a perfect size for fitting it inside the laptop case and as well, the pen always glides nicely.

I will start this review by saying I do like a nice Moleskine notebook/diary.This notebook is a great size (a little less than A4 but still good sizes pages) and the paper is a nice texture and thickness. I write with a fine nibbed fountain pen using black ink and, at times, the ink is visible on the reverse of the page - normally nothing more than a hint of ink where I have paused shows through. The weight of the paper means this is a reasonably thick notebook, but it still slips neatly into my 13 inch laptop soft cover (alongside my laptop) with no problems.As has been said this is a soft covered notebook, all XL Moleskines are I believe; that said the cover is robust enough to withstand the average rucksack of a student, although, if you are looking to write without resting the book on a desk etc you may want to look at the hardcover books in Moleskine size "large". However I prefer these notebooks as the soft cover makes opening the book flat and writing up to the centre line very easy - no wasted paper!The lines on the paper are a little wider than a standard narrow ruled page, I can understand some people may find the lines too narrow, however they seem spot on for me - I think they actually help me to keep my writing neater as I concentrate a little more!A nice feeling of permanence too - this is not a notebook for fleeting thoughts, this is a notebook for lasting memories.

When it just arrived, it has some plastic or so smell. But after several days, you can not smell anything. It is a very good product.

Always high quality. I have been buying Moleskin notebooks for years and the quality is always the same. Bookmark is a nice feature.

I can't use any other notebooks, the quality of Moleskine is unrivalled.

This is my favourite journal of all time! I love having large, blank pages to write on. It's so high quality, and the colour is life-giving.
