Delicious and reasonably priced source of passion fruit
I LOVE passion fruit in desserts. There is something exotic about the taste of passion fruit that I can't resist. I've tried buying purees online, but because they need special shipping, they end up being very expensive. After reading other reviews on Amazon, I decided to try this passion fruit juice. When it first arrived, I poured myself a small sip of the concentrate, and gave it a try. It had the passion fruit taste I was looking for, but it also had a somewhat unpleasant taste that reminded me of concentrated lemon juice (which I don't really care for). However, the concentrate is way too sour to use without sweetening, and after I added enough sugar, the unpleasant taste disappeared, and what was left was exactly what I was looking for. Today, I made a chocolate "lava cake", and I made a sauce out of this juice to accompany it (150g juice, 50g of sugar, and 2g of agar). It turned out really well, and everyone raved about it. Next, I'm going to try making a passion fruit cheesecake!

Tastes Great!
Since visiting Hawaii, I have fallen in love with Passion Fruit Juice. This flavor is hard to find, even in California. Often other tropical flavors are mixed in.This tastes exactly like I expected it too. It is very concentrated. I am happy with about an ounce in a 20 ounce bottle. I add water, ice and Splenda to taste. The directions say to mix the 16.9 ounce bottle with 8 more bottles of water = makes over a gallon. As far as I can tell, it is unsweetened. It does contain some preservatives including cirtic acid, sodium bezoate and metabisulphite. This comes from Brazil.Great product!! I use it for juice, to flavor Greek yogurt, and to add to a white or yellow cake for a tropical flavor. You can also make a great pie. Follow your favorite lemon chiffon recipe, and use this instead of the lemon juice. I will be buying more. I bought 4 bottles = same shipping cost as one bottle!!!

Passion Fruit juice for the passionate
The passion fruit juice is as advertised. I found I like it on ice cream the best. Don't know if I would bother again, however. I wanted it for my rum drink, but getting the sweet just right is a bother.

Stellar product and speed.
I am from Hawaii and crave passion fruit Lilokoi, try getting it in Kansas though :(, it's no where to be found most products that I can have shipped from Hawaii are pretty much tourist strength i.e. weak. My only other option was from another seller on Amazon for a concentrate but it is ridiculously overpriced and then they are asking 70 dollars S/H....LOLOLOLOL that wasn't happening. I took a gamble but being a junkie and all I am not at all disappointed it tastes great. They shipped far sooner then they predicted the cost for S/H on 3 bottles was still the same price as it was for 1 so I ordered 3, I am going to make a wedding cake for my daughter and with the leftovers I am going to make ice shave and juice drinks. Thanks for a great transaction and product.

Does not taste like fresh passion fruit juice
This has a different passion fruit taste I'm not used to. I can't describe it but it has a taste that's different than the fresh fruit. Almost as if they used rotten fruit? I couldn't finish a 8 oz glass. I tried to just choke it down but it went down the drain. I still have the whole bottle. I won't be purchasing this again and will return it if at all possible.

Super great!
My family lived in Hawaii for five years and my brother LOVES lilikoi. Now that we are all in Texas, it's hard to find. He has found a guy who sells 8 pound boxes on ebay a few times a year! At thanksgiving he used some of his fresh lilikois to make pies and they were so good that I found myself scouring the internet for a way to recreate them. This stuff did the trick. It is SUPER potent. I believe the ratio of water to concentrate is 11+1! WE used it to make the pies and I think in a blind taste test, you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. So good!

Nectar of the GODS
I got this to make passion fruit mousse, and it worked perfectly. Its so #$@&ing good, so I will be buying a bulk order next. Passion fruit mousse recipe: One can condensed milk, one can crema de leche(you can get this at a Mexican market, or here on amazon), and an empty condensed milk can full of the passion fruit concentrate( a little less if you dont want it as TART). put in blender for 3 minutes, and then transfer to bowl or small bowls to refrigerate overnight, or put in freezer for an hour and enjoy.SO GOOD!

Way too tart and not very passion fruity.
I don't know who these people are who have given this 5 stars. This does not taste like a freshly picked and juiced passion fruit. It is probably the most tart thing I have ever tasted. No way would I use this in a recipe of any kind without sweetening it up. I mixed it with simple syrup in various ratios, which brought it closer to tasting more like passion fruit, but that just made it sweeter without really bringing out any more actual passion fruit flavor. It will work in a pinch, but only in a pinch, and the price is definitely right. I was hoping to substitute this for frozen passion fruit puree but I will continue my search passion fruit puree that is locally sourced because shipping is so expensive or delayed on for those products.
