2 x Evo-Stik Serious Glue 33g Super Strong Adhesive

This will effectively stick anything to anything (almost). The semi-rubbery finish means that parts do not snap apart like they would with superglue or epoxy - this is not brittle. I can't remember what I've used it for (this must be my 6th tube) but nothing has failed. RC Pushrods, yes. Motorcycle vinyl seat repair, yes. Dyson hoover attachment repair, yes. Dock Martin leather to sole repair, yes. LED bar to carbon frame of racing drone, yes.

I have used this for many things. Really sticky with a bit of flex. Follow the instructions !!! Saved a sole on motorcycle boots, and £100. Bonded a puller to a petrol tank and pulled a dent out, no damage to paint.left 3 days to cure in this case rather than 24 hrs. but worked. To get off of hands, best to let dry and peel off. seems thinners resistant. Great in most but not all applications. Leave thicker applications to cure for longer than 24 hrs. :-). Clean grease, oil, dust. etc before use.

I've now had two of these tubes burst on the side when trying to press out the glue through the smaller opening. It was really a disaster zone! Imagine large amounts of glue oozing out of the side of the tube as you are trying to glue something together! Hands got all sticky from the glue (they were in fact all covered in the glue...) and the job was nearly ruined because of it. Lots of wasted product thanks to that. The glue itself is great; it does what it says it's supposed to do, no argument there. The plastic tube, however, is 'el cheapo'...cheap stuff that will burst open when too much pressure is put on it - and it's not supposed to! I mean, how else are you supposed to squeeze out the glue?

I keep rebuying this glue.It's strong for plastic, which is mostly what I use it for, but it works well for wood too, ceramic, textiles...I can remember right now that I've used it to reattach shoe uppers to soles, fixed a metal pen clip back on, repaired plastic toys, fixed a faux-leather wallet and reattached the fabric lining of a leather purse, and fix a loose worktop in place.It also fills gaps and is flexible when applied more thickly, so I've used it to repair gaps in sealant.

The glue certainly does what it says, great adhesion, but the MAJOR drawback is that once opened after use, not only does the nozzle dry up but also most of what is left in the glue bottle, making whatever you have not used useless....so once opened you really need to use it up then and there as it just does not keep. This means if you just need a little for a small repair.....it works out a very expensive small repair, thus being very bad value for money. :(

This glue is great it really sticks and is stiff flexible like a rubber seal, I've used it to repair a roller bag where it was worn, broken seams on a rucksack and a light tunnel on a projector as well as glue leather onto plastic to make a phone holder and fix a leather belt, never had such a reliable and flexible (in uses as well as in property) glue.
