UGREEN AC1300 USB WiFi Adapter, 5dBi High Gain Dual Antennas

I originally bought this as a replacement for an adapter for someone else, but I recently transferred it to my own setup. Before I had a $45 usb wifi adapter. It got high wifi speeds and range, but it became extremely unstable after a matter of months. It had a 30% of actually connecting in the first place and a 60% chance of disconnecting, and now the usb cable had to be plugged in a very specific way. This adapter is significantly better. It gets the same speed and range (even more in some positions) without the negatives. From about 70 feet from the router, I get 300mb/s download and 250mb/s upload, which is half of what someone directly next to the router gets.

UGREEN USB WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC Laptop AC1300. This WiFi adapter works great! I've only had it a short time, but so far it has been flawless. I have an old laptop that should have been retired years ago. The ethernet cable plug is broken and I've been struggling to hook up internet. This WiFi adapter connects to the internet without any lag. It comes with a disk to install the necessary driver. I can even use my video editing program. Internet speed is great. I recommend this WiFi adapter. Please see attached picture.

Just as good if not better than any of the name brand products out there offering the same technology. I have an /A+ plus/Net +/security +/ tech certification and 23 plus years of IT experience. This device offers amazing range paired with ultra high speed capabilities. I use this one on my small form factor desktop on the opposite side of the house from my 5G gateway with no latency issues like the last one and instant load times. The small form factor desktop that I have it connected to I believe has the fastest internet over any other device in the home now. I was stunned and I will be back for more!

It does a great job once you figure out the instructions. The instructions are not thorough, the website isn't helpful at all. Thankfully I have a decent working knowledge of technology and got it figured out.

I put it up on an older win 11 desktop in a room at the far corner of the house, where the wifi signal is a bit weak and faces interference from the neighbor. I also used an extender cable to raise the height to about 6 feet on the wall. It works great, never crashes and has fantastic speeds. I might need to buy another one, just in case...

The good: Connection quality. The bad: Connection speed. Reported transmit/receive speeds are 833 mbps. Tested speeds are about 233 mbps, only a quarter of what it should be. For comparison with other devices in the exact same location: my phone connects at 833 and tests at 766 mbps. Another wifi adapter plugin to the same computer: it connects at 433 and tests at 276 mbps. Not sure why other people complain about absence of drivers for download: they are on factory's web site like they should be. And I did not even need to download them. Windows 10 installed the drivers on its own

This thing was super simple to set up. I switched internet providers and our router moved to the other end of the house. So I needed a way to go from Ethernet to Wi-Fi and still have good bandwidth. I got two, one for me and one for my son (does a lot of online gaming). No noticeable decrease in performance!

Moved to a new house and there was no active cable in the room where I set up my desktop. My daughter suggested trying a WIFI adaptor. The most I push a connection is streaming video/audio. I read that some folks had trouble connecting to their 5G WIFI until they downloaded additional drivers. I am old, and old school, therefore I still have a disc drive on the desktop. I downloaded the drivers off of the included disc, and the adaptor has had no issues connecting to my 5G signal. I am definitely not pushing the WIFI envelope, but I have not had any issues at all. I have purchased quite a few UGREEN products (high speed cables, chargers, etc.) and have never had any issues with their products!

デスクトップPC用の無線LAN子機として購入しました。 USB接続するだけで使えるタイプなので、有線LANが引けない環境でも手軽にWiFi接続できるのが便利です。 デュアルアンテナ仕様のため、設置場所によって向きを調整でき、以前使っていた小型の子機よりも通信が安定しているように感じました。デュアルバンド対応なので、環境に応じて2.4GHz／5GHzを使い分けられる点も助かります。 USB3.0対応ということもあり、速度面で大きな不満はなく、Web閲覧や動画視聴、オンライン会議など日常用途では問題なく使えています。通信速度は使用環境に左右されますが、接続の途切れは今のところ発生していません。 Windows 11で使用していますが、認識や設定で特に困ることはありませんでした。アンテナ付きでサイズはやや大きめですが、その分安定性を重視する方には向いている無線LAN子機だと思います。

Nach einigen Tagen im Dauereinsatz kann ich nur sagen: Ich bin absolut begeistert! Hier sind meine wichtigsten Punkte: Echte Plug & Play Einrichtung: Das Einrichten war ein Kinderspiel. Unter Windows eingesteckt, kurz gewartet und der Stick lief sofort ohne manuelle Treiberinstallation. Hervorragende Geschwindigkeit (AC1300): Der Wechsel zwischen 2,4 GHz und 5 GHz funktioniert nahtlos. Beim Gaming und beim Streamen von 4K-Videos gibt es absolut keine Ruckler oder Lags mehr. Die Datenrate reizt meine Internetleitung voll aus. Stabile Verbindung: Selbst durch zwei Wände hindurch bleibt das Signal konstant stark und bricht nicht ab – die Dual-Antennen-Technologie leistet hier im Vergleich zu kleineren Sticks ganze Arbeit. Kompaktes Design: Der Stick ist angenehm kompakt gebaut und blockiert keine benachbarten USB-Anschlüsse. Zudem ist die Verarbeitung – typisch für UGREEN – extrem wertig. Fazit: Wer eine unkomplizierte, schnelle und vor allem zuverlässige WLAN-Lösung für seinen PC sucht, macht hier absolut nichts falsch. Spitzen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und klare Kaufempfehlung!
