does the tin rust with time

I have had this utensil holder for a while now and there isn't any rust at all. It does seem to be of good quality and roomy. You can fit a lot of utensils in this holder. I have owned mine for several months and I'm very happy with it. I did shop around for a while looking for the perfect utensil holder as anal as that might sound...this one is ideal for me and my large family, I am very happy with it!!

does it have holes underneath (i.e. to drain wet utensils)?

No, it's not for draining, it's for putting wooden spoons etc in, on the counter top

There seem to be two different sets of measurements shown. What is the correct size please?

The utensil tin is 15cm x 15cm and the height is 16cm. Hope this helps, it is very roomy and can get alot inside it.

Does it say ‚utensils’ on both sides?

The word 'Utensils' is written only on one side.
