This is the best wildlife monopod there is. Quick, light, and sturdy. It is a bit pricey but the value for your money is there. It functions with stability at any height you adjust it to. The button makes adjustment really easy and intuitive. The base folds up in two directions. Also the quick disconnect design is great for breakdown or swapping between monopod heads. This is pro quality gear. Ifootage is the best.

Saw this randomly while watching YouTube videos. It’s compact and so easy to open and close. With the KS5 head I’m able to mount both my Sony camcorder and z9 via quick release plates. Well designed and implemented. Things to be aware of — the bag only fits the monopod and has no space for the KS5 head; I’ve pinched my fingers a few times when collapsing the monopod; add on the Ifootage leveler to the budget especially for video work. It’s worth the investment and have no regrets.

Product broke after 2 days. Almost broke my 6k DSLR kit. This is very dangerous if you were using a highly expensive equipment. We will see what the seller support says.

I don't know why I've waited this long to upgrade! Holy game changer! Feels amazing, looks great and it functions 100x better than the previous model.

I usually hand hold my long lenses for bird shots, but as I age my arms need a break, so this monopod with its easy vertical lift and lowering system with one hand is perfect. The swivel base and quick release plate makes is a great system. I can hand hold, reconnect to the monopod when arm is tired and either keep shooting using it, or quickly release if I need to hand hold.

this is awesome. only thing is im 6'4". it doest go high enough. I bought the extension tube and now it's perfect. definitely buy more of those quick connect pieces that attach to the camera.

Both top and bottom quick release very difficult to release. Monopod doesn't extend very high. Returned.

Oh my gosh this is a great monopod. I can't believe how quick it is to operate, how stable the base is, and easy it is switch the setup in a variety of ways. Also little touches, like the base having both size screw heads, the thicker one just pops down if you need the thinner one, ingenious. My only minor gripe is that I wish it went down shorter, but it is a worthwhile tradeoff for the incredible benefits. I can't wait to get out and shoot more with this guy.

This monopod is great for both photographers (like me) as well as videographers. Doesn't matter if you are just using a basic camera setup or large heavy rig, this thing has got you sorted. The thing that immediately impressed me about the design was how you can use it with one hand ! there are no flip/twist locks to worry about, there is this cool simple grip locking system that lets you raise or lower it really easily. It works really well and locks in securely. It has a very large height range too. The build quality on this thing is really nice. Like , proper nice. it feels nice in the hand and has enough weight for it to feel solid, but still lightweight enought to be very portable. The tripod base has three legs that lock into different positions and a ball-joint swivel that can be locked vertically. The ball lock moves smoothly and predictably. The 3 legs are just wide enough to give pretty good support in tripod mode, and feels stable enough. But this is a monopod after all, but its just nice how versatile it is. Its also lightweight enough to use like a big long gimbal stick too which is pretty cool and has challenged me to expand my ideas about perspective and shooting at unusual angles. I just think its so nice. I love how easy it is to use with this cool one handed grip thing. it frees your other hand up to do other stuff.

I use it for HDR estate agency photography, and it's a solid monopod when the feet are out. Its a lot more convenient than a tripod.

Shooting birds with a big lens while managing a sore shoulder was getting to be too much. I have my long lens now mounted on this monopod with a gimbal. Fast, light, less shake, easy to adjust ….. superb.

This is a terrific piece of kit. It is really versatile looking a multitude of uses. It is extremely well made and easy to use. You can use it as a stick without putting down the legs. You can use it at multiple lengths and you only need one hand to extend or collapse. You can also detach the pole and use as a short tripod. You can also release the pole with your foot to allow it to swivel on the base. I highly recommend.
