It is flimsy and hopeless for a child to play with so it rather depends on exactly what you are intending to do with the outfit! The eye patch is made out of quite hard plastic so my 2-year old doesn't really like it too much, but he does wear it - more often than not in the middle of his forehead! The earring is cute and a nice extra, but what I really like is the sword. It's very shiny and has withstood some fairly serious "chopping". He hasn't gone full whack with it as we tell him to "chop gently" but it's still going strong after a good many solid hits to it.
