I have been struggling to find something strong enough for my music books for my keyboard, frustrated with pages trying to close as I played. As I practise with headphones, this gadget sits over one of the keyboard speakers on the keyboard itself. The page grips are perfect, well made and suits many other purposes such as following recipes, very sturdy will not knock over.

Excellent book stand, adjustable and easy to use

Even though this stand is marketed for holding cookbooks, I use it to hold guitar sheet / tab books, and it works just as well! Even though most guitar books will dwarf the actual stand, it does make a great job of holding them and the clips work well, so it doesn't really make a difference what kind of book you use! You can adjust the length to hold different sized books and hold them at varying angles. Though I'm not sure it'll hold a book as big or as weighty as an old-fashioned Bible for example or a heavy cookbook. Loses 1 star as it does look a little on the cheap side (even though it is cheap!) and I'm not sure it can withstand a heavy book, no matter its vocation! But otherwise, for the money a good purchase.

Modern version of a book holder. Bought this a gift for my young daughter. Looks sturdy and well made, so I think she'll be pleased.

This is brilliant for my needs. I'd had a very heavy wooden bookstand before this but needed something slightly smaller and lighter - and this was it. It is made of plastic so is very light, but it's also sturdy enough to take quite heavy hardback books. I don't use it in the kitchen, but for reading and studying and with the large 'prongs' at the front, it's more than proved its worth. Thoroughly recommend.

It does the job. Not as pretty as some, but cheaper and does a good job

This seemed great initially however after only a couple of months one of the page holders snapped at the bottom so it’s no use to me now.

This is a great versatile book stand. I have some very large and heavy cookbooks along with thin and flimsy ones. This stand supports them all in a steady and usable manner. I have owned and used many book stands. This is my best yet! Happy baking.

J'ai acheté ce support pour permettre à mon neveu de lire ses livres, poser sa tablette sans avoir à les maintenir dans la main. Il est super pratique et support facilement un livre scolaire, une tablette, tout ceci en préservant le dos de mon neveu, qui ne se penche plus sur son bureau pour lire; il a un gain de place non négligeable sur sa table également.
