Review: This is going to change my life! - I gave this product an incredibly *TALL* order, because I have **extreme hyperhidrosis** due to several LARGE factors!!! I am chronically ill, and between my antidepressants, my painkillers and after a hysterectomy that only removed one of my ovaries when I was only 26, and due to complications of my chronic condition, my other ovary has been so damaged in the past year, that I am ALSO going through early menopause!! When I have a shower, no matter if it’s hot or cold, after drying myself off, I carry around a terry cloth facecloth or hand towel, because I sweat rivers for a good hour. It’s meant that I cannot even consider putting makeup on until hours later, and if I’m sedentary and then do any form of exercise, it always starts again. I get warm coming in from outside and my whole life, I’ve been an athlete until my condition has limited what I can do, but even fit (as a top level swimmer set to qualify for the Olympics until a very serious injury sidelined my career) I turn beet red when I sweat, and now it happens when I get a little warm. It’s embarrassing. So I embarrassing and I’ve tried SO HARD, to do everything I can to limit my sweating…staying very still after a shower, and sitting in front of the fan on full blast, making sure the room is as cool as possible, and even trying a dehumidifier to get the best results I can. So I sat down and stayed still for a few minutes (I took the time to transfer items from my regular purse, into the backpack I was taking), dried my face as much as I possibly could and put the cream on. A little goes a long way, and I squeezed what I would normally put on as far as face cream and it was too much. I patted some off, and really rubbed it in carefully. Immediately, I stopped sweating. I was able to get up, pack, get dressed, finish packing, take my rabbit downstairs and outside to her run on the lawn, and got into the car. No red face! No sweating! In fact, under my jaw and my neck/throat were not covered and I used the paper towel I had to constantly pat it dry, so I know my body was doing what it always does, BUT IT WAS LIKE MAGIC!!! I highly, highly recommend. To those who find it doesn’t work for you? Make sure your face is already dry. Put enough on and rub it RIGHT into your face, with circular motions with your fingers/hand, and keep rubbing it in with as much as you need, and did I say KEEP rubbing until it is saturated and dry? Review: Really works but follow these tips… - I really like this product! It really does work. I mainly use it on my face. It works best on my forehead, but not as great on my upper lip. Tips: if you have a trip or event coming up that you really need to be perspiration free, I suggest using it at night for two-three nights prior, as well as in the mornings before putting makeup on. Bear in mind that using certain face washes & toners could affect the performance. Obviously it’s only meant to be used for up to 7 days, so I’m not saying you can’t wash your face at all, just bear this in mind. It will make your face feel very dry & tight which is a bit uncomfortable at first. But I got used to it. I have sensitive skin, but have no issues using this. In the mornings I put it on my face once I’m dry from the shower & before I start getting ready so that it has time to sink in & work. If you put it on & then go straight in with a moisturiser, it’s not going to work properly. I actually find it helps keep my makeup on! As I have aged, my skin has gone from super dry to combi. So this helps my makeup to not slide off my face in the heat! It has a slight fragrance but I find it nice & it doesn’t last long. As another reviewer said - you need to use a small amount & rub it in well. I recommend washing your hands straight away (oily face wash helps) otherwise your finger tips feel all weird!

I got this after reading so many positive reviews. I do not suffer with Hyperhidrosis. However; as a woman in my thirties I have noticed recently I’ve been experiencing hot flushes accompanied with more than usual wetness under my arms. First thing is first, the product didn’t come with a security/freshness foil label over the application area like other cream sticks do. I was hesitant to use this for that reason, but after a week or so I decided to give it a go. I decided to use the product of an evening after a shower when my skin had fully dried. The product came with no usage instructions and having tried another similar product, I decided to follow the generic guidelines of using every other night for 7 nights. The application process is messy, it sort of splurges out excessively, so with it being a small tube, I can see why this wouldn’t last very long. I noticed zero difference after 7 days. But on the 8th day I woke with a painful itch under my arm. I immediately stopped using the product I used nothing on my underarm for three days other water and it patted dry. Sadly, the crease line of my underarm started to scab along with becoming increasingly itchy. It has been almost one month since I stoped using the product, the scabs have gone, it took forever to heal and I’ve been left with a very prominent, not very nice looking purple pigmentation scar under my arm, hugely knocked my physical confidence. I hope it heals come the summer. I am awaiting a GP appointment and have contacted Vichy directly for some advice. I absolutely would not buy this product again and I absolutely would not recommend it!
