I liked these coffee cups as they looked quirky and unusual and I had never seen anything similar before. I also thought that being double walled they would keep my coffee warmer for longer. They were unexpectedly lightweight - much lighter than my existing cappuccino cups and I did wonder whether they were made of plastic and not glass. However, the product description states glass so I assume that this is true. I found them slightly awkward to hold, certainly more so than all the other cups and mugs that I own, however this was not enough to be a problem. I have used them daily since buying them and they wash well. Overall I really like them and think they look attractive. I would buy them again.

Bit worried about purchasing after reviews about breakages. A ten year guarantee means nothing if you drop it and it breaks!!!! only for faulty manufacture!!! this means if its faulty out of the box return it. Otherwise your your on your own!!!! Having said that i find most reviews are sent in by people who have problems with faults that concern them i.e. why bother writing if everything is fine? I get this but i have found with this item it ticks all the boxes , lightweight, keeps hot longer,and has not smashed yet!!!! But will be treating like a precious antique when washing!!! 4 months later it was making a different noise when putting down on table . Upon inspection a hole has appeared in base about 2mm. dia. might be where glass was filled or blown , as such is a weak spot and lets in water to vacuum area,so will now not recommend purchase. Reimbursed so gone back to cheap as chips single wall from AMAZON.

Already had two of the smaller ones which were great for espresso but wanted something larger for flat white coffee. They are really great. The coffee stays hot for much longer, they are easy to clean and they look really nice.
