Ammonium Bicarbonate (4oz) Baker's Ammonia, Traditional Leavening Agent, Food Grade

Used this for my springerlies and they turned out great, and have kept good texture for almost a month. It smells terrible while you are baking it but is definitely worth it. Also I absentmindedly ate a piece of the dough and I would say it was about equal with getting jalapenos in my eyes for cooking induced suffering. I'm excited to try making crackers with it.

Worked very well. Just be careful with the ammonia smell. Can be a bit overwhelming so use ventilation.

I started dosing NH3 in my reef tank instead of NO3. I use this ammonium bicarbonate to make a stock solution and it works great. I LOVE the fact that it's food grade, so that means the purity is there so I'm not adding unknown things to my reef.

Worked well for making German springerle cookies for my Dad for Christmas. He loved them! Would have liked to buy a smaller package because I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of it but I'll figure something out.

The quality of this baker’s ammonium is very disappointing. When I received it, the outer package had a few stains, which was not a big issue. The real problem is that after opening it, I found the powder had clumped into hard chunks of various sizes, extremely solid, which clearly shows a quality issue. It seems like it was exposed to moisture. Unfortunately, it cannot be returned, which is quite frustrating. I had to place another order, hoping the quality will be better this time.
