HEATIT ET-21 Thermostat Plug for Heat Tape, 38°F On/50°F Off ET-24 1PCS

I kept forgetting to turn on my heated hose/bib for my outdoor water faucet. this automated the process saving me money from damage on multiple occasions making this a low cost value. plug and play useability that just works. at around ~36 degrees it automatically turns on and the light gives you a visual that it is on and working!

2 of the 3 pieces I ordered are not working. Unable to return. They were in use less than a few weeks.

We have a large above ground fish tank so to speak outside. We typically run one or two heaters to keep the top open with aerators on the bottom. This worked very well to turn them on.

I ordered a single plug unit from Heatit and it works PERFECT. After doing my rear gutters, I wanted a dual thermostatically controlled outlet. I ordered this. First one showed up with the company logo upside down and the ground was deformed. I pushed it in and it never put electricity through, I waited through a snowfall to test. Never came on, I unplugged the gutter heaters and plugged straight to the outlet, both turned on and worked. I realize duds get through, so I ordered a replacement. It came two days later when the temperature is 18 degrees. I opened it and noticed dirt and smears across the faceplate. The logo was upside down again. The ground was deformed again. And unsurprisingly it did does not work. Now the decision to purchase two single unit of this brand or move on to a different brand that hopefully has superior quality control. I wonder if "Heatit" really stands for "He A Tit" -- thats how i'm feeling currently.

This is an awesome gadget. We use it for chicken coop and dog heaters. Great price and saves on electricity bill by not running when not needed.

Worked great AFTER i put it in the freezer to cold soak it. After that I plugged it in. Before that nada. Works great now!!!

Works perfectly

Bought this last winter for my pump house heater. I have a small space heater to keep my water from freezing. Sometimes I forgot to change my timer or it would be on longer than it needed to be. This was perfect for my needs. Worked all winter in Alberta.

Finally installed them and not sure if they are working properly at this time. Waited for cold weather but at 4 degrees C the temperature of the compartment was still the same as ambient. Should have been 10 degrees higher. Supposed to come on at below 38 degrees F and off at approximately 50 degrees F.

unfortunately, it's needed to return mine a it didn't turn on at 38f as advertised. wasn't turning on at 30f(0c) which is what I needed most
