This is the 2nd one that I have had my first one lasted years before I had to bin it. I thought I'd manage without buying another and lasted 2 weeks as got fed up of scrubbing the oven door. They are definitely a good idea. The suction is good and it stays where its supposed to, I find that the left corner will flap about a bit when I open the oven door due to the fan oven and can be a bit annoying when your trying to shut the door saying that its better than having to constantly clean the oven door. I can't comment on how easy it is to wash as haven't washed it yet. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing - I had never managed to get my oven door really clean - so finally really set to, and managed to get it sparkling clean. Then fixed the door shield - and now, several weeks later, and many splattering bakes later - the oven door is still sparkling. Can't think how I never found such a thing before. Fabulous

Brilliant idea and does work - I have not cleaned the oven door glass since I bought it six months ago. You do have to trim it to just cover the glass or it catches in the door catch because the suction cup does not stay in place allowing the mesh to "swing" sideways - I have to reposition it every time I use the oven but it is worth the slight inconvenience. I was hoping that by now, an improved fitting would be available, maybe a suction cup on each side to give more stability.

Good idea, I am glad I bought it as it does keep the glass door a lot cleaner. I still have to wipe the glass every week or so with a damp cloth, but overall it works. Possibly a bit on the expensive side for what it is, but Mr Muscle oven cleaner is expensive, so I will save on that, I guess.

This seems to be doing a great job at keeping a new oven door clean, however, if you have taken any time over the choice of oven, and in particular its appearance, you may not appreciate the large plastic cap which covers the suction top on the outside of the oven door. The liner fits to the inside of the oven door, flush with the glass and does sit tidily, however, there is then a flap which extends up out of the oven and down over the outside of the oven door. This is fixed in place with a suction device and there is then a plastic cap which sits over the top. It is quite obtrusive and cannot be missed. As I say, seems to be keeping the glass in the oven door clean, however, if appearance is your priority you may want to consider other options.

After reading reviews here, I was a bit worried but since this is the only product that fit the description of what I needed, I ordered it! Was pleasantly surprised that the mesh is actually sturdy with sealed edges and does cover the surface of the oven door that it needs to cover. Very easy to install and I can still see the food cooking.

Easy to clean, does what it says on the packet. Highly recommend this product if you want your oven door to remain clean.
