Very good product
My daughter has recently started crawling around, and she seems to always be drawn to our doors. I’m always super paranoid whenever she grabs the edge of the door and starts pulling or pushing it around, because at her age, closing the door on her fingers can easily lead to a pretty bad injury. So I started my Amazon search for a product to help reduce my anxiety and prevent this kind of injury, and there seems to be quite a few different products. The Door Monkey appears to be a popular choice, but there are 2 things I really didn’t like about it: (1) the aesthetics and (2) having to remove the product whenever you want to close the door. So when I came across Pinky, the claimed features met my checklist of requirements.Overall, it works really well. I like the subtle design that blends in with my doors, and I really like that I don’t have to remove it whenever I want to close the door. It also has this interesting automatic mechanism, where if you retract it to a certain position and close the door, the next time you open the door it springs back out so you don’t have to remember to reset it. It’s a little hard to describe, but I have to say it’s pretty nifty. The only con I can think of was the written instructions. A little hard to follow, but the installation video on their site made it much easier to understand and install.Would definitely recommend!

Didn’t stay on the door.
I bought these to put on my kids bedroom doors. I followed directions placing them on the doors and frames. One of them seems to be working ok so far, but the other one (which was applied to a more frequently used door) kept popping off. I tried to re-apply it several times, but after a few days, I just left it off.

and I like that they’re not an eyesore
I don’t know what I was waiting for… this thing simply works. I’ve installed 4 of these around the house, and I like that they’re not an eyesore. If anything, they end up being a conversation starter and our guests often ask about them and end up playing around with them.

Protects fingers
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but after watching the short installation video, it’s a clever little product. I really had only 2 requirements: (1) protect my kid’s fingers and (2) be able to keep it on the door even when not in use. It does both these things, and the rest is bonus:- subtle looking- it has this springy arm that automatically extends whenever you open the door

Two pinkies up
I used to have those foam door stoppers, but either I keep losing them or my son was secretly eating them. Since the Pinky is adhered to the door and doesn’t have to be taken off even when I don’t want to use it, I’m happy that I don’t have to keep buying replacement foam stoppers.

We love it!
We have one on the girls' door and one at their bathroom. They love fighting over the doors and this little device gives us peace of mind. We love it! Such a great idea!
