Pristine audio quality, however, was not a requirement, given the content I would be streaming. I originally ordered a different highly rated device that just didn't cut it. The major problem with that and some others is connect/disconnect and play/pause transients. Well, you get what you pay for-- but not so fast! This 1Mii B06S+ LDAC receiver is, as I see it, a bargain! I've had no issues with transients or noise, it pairs quite easily, and the combination level ("volume")/next track control on the unit is a nice touch. The inclusion of the LDAC codec is a real bonus, for example, if you're streaming from modern Samsung phones or other devices that implement LDAC. The sound quality is excellent for its price-point.
