Efcolor9371606 Kiln Set, Silver, Siliver

Was really surprised how good and easy this was to use..the efcolour enamels give a bright and vibrant choice of colours with a high shine finish...very easy to use and lots of fun.

Before you use make sure you buy good tea lights. It struggles to work with the ones supplied. I nearly gave up, my son handed me some of his tea lights and it worked well.

Very pleased with this. An excellent low cost way of creating beautiful cold enamel jewellery and easy to use. My only problem with it was that I found it quite difficult to blow out the tea lights as they are underneath the top part of the stove, but this was overcome by buying a candle snuffer.

I loved the idea of this and so wanted it to be great. However for me it was too hit and miss. I tried many times with polymer clay-small pieces - and many variables of where to put it, how many tea lights etc etc all with not much luck- I also followed the instructions to the letter the first few times. I will keep it in my crafting supplies and will try again-I haven’t given up hope

Didn’t think it would work, it was actually rather easy to use, and it did what it was meant too, if it’s your first time doing enamel then this is perfect. Just make sure the dust is only in the engraving fill, as and little bits will show and will not come off the piece you are enamelling

I bought this little kiln as I had recently got back into playing with polymer clay, and had heard these were great for pre-baking and baking small items. I had wanted one before but with lockdown I decided to treat myself to this. Its a lovely small size ideal for my craft table top. There are a few tools included such as a pair of tongs and a plate for placing small items on. There is a dome cover and underneath are spaces for 3 tea lights. These are not movable and with my sausage fingers, I sometimes find it difficult to place the candle or blow them out. 1 tealight may be enoughfor a few small items but i kept it to 2 tealights. Small items only took about 10 mins to become baked. Overall this is a useful tool for polymer clay and enamelling small items and with Amazon Prime it came the next day!

Amazing to be able to fire low temp enamel with just tea lights! Only complaint is that the plates and tools are a bit flimsy and the plate you put the work on gets too hot to manage without a cloth - wooden handles might have helped?On the really plus side, I can now offer enamelling as part of my portable workshops without the need for access to electricity, which is great as I teach at off-grid camps! :)

Bought this together with the "Efcolor color Set" so I could start right away. There are all the tools you need to try out enameling. The "kiln" works and it gets hot enough for the colour to melt. The rest is up to you and your skills.In these lockdown days it is a great distraction and really fun. Even my kid (13 years) who is not very crafty enjoyed it as it was something different. So I am expecting that soon everything metallic in my house will be enamelled. ;)
