We were at a complete loss about what to do, our Cavvie who has alway been absolutley ravenous turned into a picky eater since being diagnosed with Cushing's Disease last year. She would have a few meals out of a bag of dog food and then she stopped we were buying so much food, then all the would eat was chicken and NOTHING ELSEWe decided we would give this a try although really not expecting it to do anything. We are now very strict, she gets nothing apart from dog food, nothing mixed in with her food. We snap a gravy bone in half and squirt this on it, she gobbles it up. She gets 4 half GBs a day with this stuff on and she actually loves it.She's only eating all of her dinner, not in one sitting we now usually give the days food over 3 small meals but she is eating it all.We have been super strict apart from GBs and that's only with this stuff on.She seems interested in her meals again. Seriously this paste is amazing. We tried lots of other supplements and oils etc but she turned her nose up and everything but this!!Seriously don't hesitate definitley buy it to try!! The tube has probably lasted us about 2 weeks but cheaper than buying loads of different dog foods and meats etc!! Already got my second one on orderIt's definitley worth a try for 7quid and you may find it works absolute wonders like it has for us**update, now onto our second tube, first one lasted us 2 weeks wapprox, she will now just take the paste off my fingers with no treat or anything she actually loves the stuff!**

My tiny little 3lb Yorkie is getting old. She will be 14 in January. She has always been a bit of a sickly dog, throwing up and loose stools, and quite fussy with her food. She has also always been very skinny. When she was younger this wasn't too much of a problem, but recently her hips, spine and ribs have become visible and obvious to the touch. She's not unwell, she's just old and doesn't eat enough to maintain her weight anymore. So I picked up some of this stinky, sticky paste!I've been giving her a pea sized amount on my finger a few times a day, just when she wakes up to toilet and would otherwise have a little snack, and it's helped encourage her to eat afterwards on occasion, although still not in the mornings. She has never eaten in the mornings, but now she doesn't have to! I do sometimes need to put it directly on her tongue as she's not interested at all, but again this isn't new for us. It's quite sticky and smells like meat and malt, which isn't unpleasant but it does linger. Definitely something you need to be able to wash your hands after giving.I don't know exactly how many calories are in this, but she is definitely putting weight back on, which started just a week after introducing this to her diet. It's most evident around her ribs which I'm not worried about getting my finger stuck underneath anymore, and on her spine which feels much less nobbly than it did!Value for money is a hard one to decide, because for me with my tiny dog, the tube will last maybe a month with how regularly I'm giving it to her? I think that's excellent for the price. For someone with a much bigger dog, it may be cheaper to get a prescription from a vet!

My dog hates the smell so it has to be mixed in with scrambled eggs.

My older husky has been very picky lately. Won’t eat wet or dry store bought food, won’t eat the same thing more than two days in a row and refuses to eat supplements. A squeeze of this on his paw and his appetite is back to a normal picky husky 😁. Within a few days he’s put back on some weight and his condition is much improved. He’s also back on the supplements and it’s still funny watching him fake limp when you stick it on his paw

Did nothing for my dog, made no difference for her so in the end I gave up with it. It was easy to use and she enjoyed the taste but I didn’t see any difference to her coat, her health or her appetite

My dog, a rescued 2 year old german shepherd male, is underdeveloped and under weight, due to improper feeding by the previous owner, he had zero interest in bowls of food, had never eaten a steak, or even knew how to, would go days without eating a thing, almost like he was scared of food, i have his veterinary records from 6 months and he has no illnesses or diseases that would cause this, i believe he had been left to graze on cheap dry food, and had never actually eaten a proper meal or proper food, i got him into a routine of 2 meals a day, with nothing in between, he would always leave food, and didnt eat normally, he was gentle with the food and would nibble and take him a long time to do so, still going days without on occasion.... day 3 with this product, and not only does he lick his bowl clean, his portions are larger, and he comes back requesting more, i have seen a significant change in happiness, energy, meal times are exciting him now, he looks fuller. If you have a dog in a similar scenario to mine, i highly recommend this product, its seriously enhanced my dogs appetite, its like a breath of fresh air, no more stress and worry. This nutritional paste is really good. My dog has Cushings and possible first stage diabetes. I am an holistic person and will try natural remedies as apposed to lining the Vetinary's pockets and putting an animal through unessesary and traumatising tests. My dog is 15 yrs old had been treated by Vets in the past and was over suppressed with drugs. I decided to treat him myself instead with natural organic treatments. After they nearly put him into Addison's, which is more serious and life threatening . I feed him Natural foods as in meat, fish, vegetables and pulses. No cereals.!! I could write a book on the subject by now. However, he recently picked up a virus, which happens in older dogs and it had taken it's toll. I put him on this suppliment. It is my third tube. His hair is shiny again, his eyes glitter and he's lively for his age. Also combined with another treatment of natural drops his drinking and urination has lessened. This is on a dog that who's estimated life expectancy was only about 8 years old. I might add, that l have studied Holistic healthcare for years and am a qualified Therapist. So you need to look at the whole picture first. Prevention is better than cure. I never give my pets tap water. Yes, Vets as in Doctors are sometimes necessary but l will always try looking at diet and lifestyle first. Unless it is an emergency. This suppliment is given either mixed in food or l use a teaspoon and he licks it clean, dogs seem to like the taste. I do recommend it for dogs who need that extra boost of suppliments or after an operation. My dogs Cushing desease, l believe, was brought on by the shock of being castrated. When he was 6 yrs old. I would highly recommend this suppliment as l know it works. Along with a natural diet if possible. Don't suddenly change an animals diet, do it gradually. The tube does'nt last long but think of all those Vetinary's bills before you think of the cost of this suppliment. Some sellers put the price of their goods up after glowing reviews. It is available in other locations if you experience that.

For seven years my dogs have loved this suppliment, however,the last two tubes have been justwatery beige fluid. I have cancelled my regular order. Very sorry. Hot weather or change of recipe?
