This helped my cat in ways I can't descripe. He is 17 now and I really put it down too his age as he seemed very low and wasn't doing the toilet the way he should. The smell and noise were horrific and that's being kind on the poor wee guy. Maybe thought it was the kittens making him feel left out and a bit stressed but he has been around kittens before and never been like this so woke up one morning only to find him in the toilet and I don't even want to explain the noise and smell but let's just say if it was a human u would be wondering if they hadn't taken off to the moon as the noise was something I didn't even think was possible to come from a cat it was like a rocket 🚀. Anyways it turned out he has a bit of an issue passing his food and is causing him severe distress so I got the probotics and a few pouches of pro plan gastrointestinal and it seemed to help so I thought I would change him over permanently so I got the dry food rather than the wet that the vet gave me as he prefers his dry stuff and withing a couple of days I could see his feices starting to get a bit more solid and then within 4 days he was actually doing a solid again. If u had seen what the poor guy went through the 3 weeks previous to that it was honestly heart braking to see him like that. He is one of those cats that just wants to be involved in everything and always wants on your lap, but to see him hide away in his cat tree was a sin but thanks to changing his diet its honestly helped him so much. I really can't put it in to words. Please don't listen to bad reviews every cat is different and I like the way the biscuits stay nice and moist and don't dry out at all. I keep them in a bag and then put them in there own plastic air tight containers but the bag seems to re Seale fine enough itself tbf. If I had to moan about 1 thing it would be the fact I can get a smaller bag cheaper than 5kg bag which tbh is annoying. I like to get my stuff in for the cats in bulks as I have 2 other cats who just had 3 kittens 10 weeks ago so it's not been the easiest of times for the big man which is what I put all this down too, stress. Now he is on a new diet through seeing the vets its honestly made him 10 years younger. He even comes out and mingles with the little ones now and that didn't seem on the cards a few weeks back. The reason I knew summit was up he is the best cat I've seen with kittens and meeting other cats but it's like he didn't even have the energy to look at them. After 2 or 3 days of changing his diet u seen the difference. I would recommend this to anyone and even the wet food is a good option as that helped my cat too but he just seems to prefer his dry food and wet for a little treat. My other bigger cats are not allowed to touch these and are always looking and sniffing at an empty bowl which is very rare in here, so Definitely a 10/10 from him that's for sure 😂

The vet reccomended this food for my cat after she developed bowel problems. I didn't hold out much hope of her eating it as she and my other two cats are fussy but all three really enjoy this food and I'm happy to say, my cats bowel problems have got better. I've also noticed that all three have put weight on because they're actually emptying their bowls, whereas their previous food was left un-eaten. I thought it was expensive BUT I have no wastage, so I'm not wasting money, therefore it's value for money. UPDATE. Once my cat had healed I didn't think I'd need to buy specialised food but all three of my cats refused to eat another brand I'd bought, so I now have this food on subscription and my furbabies are happily eating again.

Purchased as cat had gastroenteritis and was very ill. After a period of blending this with warm water I finely managed to get him to eat it on his own and he seems to like it. Also as a bonus I now give it to all my cats to ensure my boy doesn't have another flare up. But it actually also helped my 19 year old cat too, so win win. All seems to like it as well.

I never thought I’d be writing a review about poop, yet here we are. My Sphynx cat went through a *diarrhea era* that nearly destroyed my automatic litter box and my will to live. I tried what felt like every food on the planet. Grain-free, boutique, prescription, “limited ingredient,” foods with names that sounded like skincare brands — all resulted in what I can only describe as **explosive outcomes**. Enter Purina Pro Plan Gastrointestinal. Within days, my naked little menace was producing **actual solid poops**. I didn’t know this kind of stability was possible. The litter box stopped crying for help. I stopped gagging every morning. Peace returned to the household. HOWEVER. While the *form* of the poop is now respectable, the *aroma* is… aggressive. The stench arrives before the cat does. It lingers. It announces itself. My automatic litter box may be clean, but it is not emotionally prepared. So yes — this food absolutely works. His tummy is happy, his stools are solid, and I’m no longer power-washing the litter box daily. Just be warned: your cat may now produce **weapon-grade gas and poops** that smell like a biological experiment gone wrong. Five stars for effectiveness. Minus 1 stars for odor because at this point I’ll take solid over explosive any day. Would buy again.

Cat likes them, got as he's had surgery on intestine due to cancer, so every little helps he can get, bit expensive as it's cheaper on pets online sites but then you have to have to spend a amount to get free delivery, will buy again

I was previously given a prescription for a more expensive brand by my vet after one of my cats fell very ill with a gastric infection. They devoured the lot. I thought I would try this as it's cheaper and they never leave it. I supplement it with chicken breast to stop it becoming boring. It was delivered in a cardboard box which I wasn't happy with as I am certain there are more sustainable ways to deliver it. Back to the food ... whilst I haven't tried it, the fact that my 3 cats appear to love it, is a big thumbs up for this product and I have continued to buy it. The strays and the seagulls love it too!

I’m so pleased and not stressed anymore, I’ve tried quite a few brands for my cats digestive issues, my vet recommended this brand and nearly 3 weeks in her tummy and poop issues are back to normal now
