Extremely comfortable, even with heavier loads. The belt snugs up well based on the weight being used and remains comfortable through the full range of motion. We use this belt not only for dips but also for squats to supplement hand held dumbbells. The chain is sufficiently long but I would appreciate an additional 6 inches or so for using 100 pound plates. Overall, this is a great belt. It is comfortable, durable, and adjusts to any size user. It is hard to think of any way to improve on this belt. In addition, the company provides video support on using the belt safely and in different ways.
