L'Oreal Perfect Blonde Creme New Highlighting Kit

Wow! I grew up as a natural blonde but started dyeing my hair red in the 90's. Having reached 40 my hair has started to grey and the red dye looked ridiculous when the roots grew so I decided to go back to my previous colour which was a warm caramel with natural highlights. I knew exactly what I wanted, my children have my natural colour so I used them as a guide! After some research I bought some B$ colour remover and Loreal Blonde creme highlight kit. I ended up having to use two boxes of B4 to strip the colour enough to dare put any other colour on it. I was left with my natural caramel coloured hair but without the lovely natural sun kissed highlights. I used this highlight kit as instructed except I only used half the mixture because my hair is just past shoulder length and I wasn't dyeing loads of hair, I just wanted a few touches. I have to admit it was a little tricky doing the back but I managed a few small highlights with most of them framing my face. The result was brilliant! Lovely, close to the root golden highlights which blend with my natural colour beautifully. Although I only used half the mixture I got great coverage and a lovely, natural, sun kissed result. Could not be happier. I've paid £80 at the hairdressers before and not had such a nice result. I shall be doing my own hair from now on and at just over £4 a go I can't complain!!

i use it to add a few highlights to my light brown dyed hair - adds interest with just a few highlights on the top - so is proving very economical for me to use as i just use a bit each time. Very generous product contents enough for two applications I would have thought for long hair. Colour is great with no brassy undertones and controllable on how blonde you want your highlights ie how long you leave it on. Was nervous at first as my usual product was difficult to impossible to purchase now but this has proved an excellent buy and I will definitively be buying again!

I used this to get a dip-dye effect on my hair. I'm a total novice with dyes so it was a bit ambitious but worked great. I applied in layers starting at the bottom then moving up every few minutes so when I washed it all out at the same time the bottoms were bleached more than the middle. Worked a treat!

I was quite excited to try this product but it wasn't for me. Having no experience of using a cap, this was my first. Have did home colouring lots before. I struggled with the cap, it wasn't small but the fit wasn't great and it was cheap. Like the material of a shower curtain. I do have longer hair so this might have been why. I did get some hair through then other parts were just knotting. This would possibly be easier for people with shorter hair or if you have someone to help you. My arms hurt afterwards. I ditched the cap and just took random sections of hair and applied the bleach. Worked out okay in the end but for the time it took. I'd save and go professional.

I found this really difficult to apply on my own. Would not recommend.

this product turned my hair too blonde and had brassy orange tones. I did not leave it on for long enough though. These products are ok if you really know what you are doing! Be very carefull!! I had to get a professional to sort my hair out afterwards.

I have been using this kit for years now. It works brilliantly, doesn't turn my hair yellow (although I always use a toner after bleaching) and grows out nicely. I would suggest using foils, I have tried the cap method but I had issues with bleeding in conjunction with the highlights being too far away from my scalp.I will continue to repurchase this product.

Have always used this product and very pleased with the results.
