Richbrook Anti-Theft Wheel Valve Dust Caps - Black

I bought two sets of these because kids in the neighbourhood were messing around letting air out of numerous car tyres. I was concerned for my wife's safety and also the risk of an accident which could hurt others as well. Since buying and fitting these caps we've had no more trouble. Easy to fit and the little tool can sit in the glove compartment or fit on the car key ring. A great buy and good value for money.

I've edited my review, theyve been on my car 6 months, these are now stuck on my wheel valves.Currently having 3 tyres replaced thanks to these silly valve covers, don't buy them.

Very useful tyre valve caps when you have problems with vandals letting your tyres down. It appears all products have the same 'key', so knocked a star off as there is no random key selection to impede persistent criminal activity.I agree with the other comments about oiling each cap before use (the warning supplied with the product just says aluminium threaded valves should be greased).

Yet another gem from Richbrook. So far these havn't been stolen so they must work! The outer coat of metal (black) just spins on the inner silver metal so without the key they are extreamly difficult to remove in a flash. I advise that you attach the key supplied to your car keys, then at least if you lose them it doesn't matter if you can't remove the dust caps because you couldn't even get in your car! Overall very nice, I just hope someone doesn't take extreame actions to get them off and end up damaging the inner valve/tires...*A STRONG PIECE OF ADIVSE FROM ME WHICH ISN'T STATED ANYWHERE FROM RICHBROOK*:I highly recommend that before you attach these to the valves you apply some axel grease or WD40 in order to prevent them becoming permantly stuck on! I had a past experience with a cheap metal dust cap (Not these) and had to replace the inner tube for the tire which set me back £40 I think it was. Also every week take them off/losen them to make sure they can come off, and reapply some more grase/WD40.

The kids like to take valve caps for their bikes, I’ve lost quite a few, these have them fooled.

These dust caps are fantastic. Kids these days go crazy for dust caps, and nick whatever they can off your car, and some of the professional thugs will even go to the extent of letting air out of your tires but not anymore, with these little beauties the yobs just sit there spinning for hours until they realise that the dust as aren't going anywhere! As well as working like a charm, the caps feel robust and well made.Couldn't be happier with this purchase, puts you are a real peace of mind.

After some lowlife kept stealing my dust caps, I decided to buy some anti-theft ones. I had bought a cheap pair that came with a little screwdriver for my previous car and they turned out to be a false economy as two seized up and had to be removed with pliers.These are worth the price in my opinion; they feel well made and can be put on and removed with ease with the handy key-ring attachment. I think most importantly they look quite subtle and discreet which is good for not drawing attention from undesirables to your car. I was also impressed that they arrived the day after I ordered them.My top tip with these is to spray a little WD40 on them every once in a while just to prevent any gunk seizing them up.
