As described brilliant size to toast any size bread. Would recommend. Toasted and sealed in minutes. Lovely taste not over or under toasted.

I looked at previous reviews and it was picked up for having to large and square plates, which did not fit a slice of bread. I am not sure what bread the review's were using but none of the loafs of bread I use are exactly the same size. I have tried two diffrent loafs and yes they didn't fit perfectly but my toasties came out fine. For me it looks good, it a good price, it works well and it is easy to clean. It would have been 5 star if the lead was a little longer.

I bought for my elderly mother who has used a cast iron cooker top version for many years, and it broke. This electric version is quicker, safer and easier, also cheaper trim. Used mostly for cheese toasties which are delicious. Very happy.

The toastie is a solid product. However, I ended up buying 3 sizes of bread, and none of them were big enough for it. I had to send it back becuase I shouldn't have to buy special sized bread to use it. If you can find one, more power to you!

I bought this for my mother and she's thrilled with it. Smart looking, works well and at a very reasonable price.
