Worked a treat on a cotton product but gives a bit lighter colour maybe? Worked in my favour as I got a much nicer colour match to what I wanted. It took about an hour but its not for cotton remember. I have other colours for cotton which give a much richer colour much quicker. Id recommended this brand 100% nice bottles to keep it in. Its a bit pricey maybe I'm no dye expert but I'd pay it again. 1 bottle will do around 2 adult t shirts at a guess. I know it sounds strange, but trust me, it works. A friend of mine told me about this trick and it worked on a blouse I had a stain on for YEARS. It had been washed and dried so many times and I was sure it would not work... amazingly, it did work! This dye is for synthetics, and might work for example, if the lace is 100% polyester. If it's a mix of synthetic and cotton, this will dye the synthetic bits but not the cotton. The regular dye will do for the cotton, but not synthetics. IF you are prepared to junk the curtains if you guess wrong, then go ahead. I put the dress in the washing machine and the dye in the little plastic cups you get with laundry liquids. I used 2 bottles of the sky blue dye.
