A variety of primary colours. I'd guess about a quarter were blue.

Can you use any standard marbles with the Galt marble run?

I wouldn't go as far as to say any, but we have found most standard marbles can be used with the Galt marble run.

Can you make small simple marble runs from this or just a big one?

It will make any combination you like with the pieces available - so small or large -it's up to you.
