The Shimano nickel finish looks amazing and the black decals go with my black bike. Paired with a new chain I hope to get well over 2000 miles out of this before I consider changing it. Disappointingly the desertcart service on this order was poor - it stated delivery within a few days but it took nearly a month and arrived from Europe. Seeing as I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere with a quicker lead time i nearly cancelled the order. Luckily I wasn’t in a rush for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality and price *by S***N on 10 December 2013* This makes a good upgrade for most 8-speed budget hybrids and mountainbikes. I fitted one of these to a Ridgeback Velocity and a Scott Aspect 50 and in both cases the bikes now run a lot smoother. In both cases I also changed the chains to a KMC Z8S and also added a new Alivio crankset to the Ridgeback. You'll need the right tools to do the job, a chainwhip and shimano compatible cassette removal tool (and maybe a chainbreaker depending on your old chain). You'll also need a crankset tool to remove a crankset (if you change it which is recommended if it's worn badly, otherwise the chain will wear out faster).
