I'm really pleased to say that this ball is different. The assembly mechanism is simple - line up and twist into place. The ball is secure and sturdy and the opening sections are easy to operate. This ball seems like it will last a long time (though as it is brittle plastic it would still be susceptible to damage if dropped onto a hard surface). Review: Great and strong - Was great miss my hamster ## Features - FUN EXERCISE BALL: Keeps your small pet entertained with a secure way to explore outside the cage; promoting healthy movement and mental stimulation - GLITTER DESIGN IN VIBRANT PURPLE: Eye-catching translucent ball with sparkly glitter finish adds a fun touch while allowing you to safely watch your pet as they run - SHATTER-RESISTANT PLASTIC: Made from high-quality, shatter-resistant plastic that’s tough yet light, ensuring safe play for your pet and easy cleaning with a quick wash - SUITABLE FOR HAMSTERS: At 18 cm in diameter, this exercise ball is great for various small animals including hamsters, gerbils and mice - VENTILATED FOR COMFORT: Features multiple air holes for optimal airflow, ensuring your pet stays cool and comfortable during exercise sessions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004332H06 | | Allergen Information | Allergen-Free | | Batteries Included | No | | Batteries required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 16,967 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 115 in Toys for Small Animals | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Care Instructions | Spot Clean | | Colour | Purple | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (6,471) | | Date First Available | 2 April 2010 | | EU Energy Efficiency Label | A | | Item Weight | 200 g | | Item model number | 19329 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pet Life Stage | Adult Hamsters | | Pet Type | Small Animals | | Product Dimensions | 18 x 18 x 18 cm; 200 g | | Quantity | 1 | | Special features | Interactive, Lightweight, Portable | | Specific Uses | Playing | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rosewood - **Breed recommendation:** All Breed Sizes - **Pet toy type:** Ball - **Recommended uses for product:** Physical activity and play for small pets such as hamsters - **Theme:** Glitter ## Images ![Rosewood Boredom Breaker Glitter Hamster Exercise Ball – 18 cm Purple, Shatter‑Resistant Small Animal Toy for Hamsters, Gerbils and Mice, Washable - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jCnZaZ9dL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easier to assemble than pet store hamster ball! *by S***Y on 1 January 2024* This was bought as a replacement for a popular pet store hamster ball - which was really hard to assemble and had cracks and joints which snapped everywhere.
