Have bought this before as my hair started to get thin and falling out (several 1p-sized clumps when washing my hair every time). No clinical cause suspect it's my age (66) or perhaps due to being under stress for a long period. After about 3 months of washing daily or every 2nd day there is a distinct difference. Not so much hair falling out and my hair is definitely thicker. My hairdresser has noticed the difference in the thickness of my hair. Having been brown haired - now grey, I switched to the brown one using it every 2nd day which was working out ok. Made my hair blonde but then it kind of went yellowish so now trying the brown one for grey hair. Ok so far but I only use it about one a week to keep the grey at bay. Tip: if using the brown shampoos/conditioners it is advisable to wear gloves as you nails get a bit brownish. I stopped using it and my hair started falling out again, so am back to using it once every 2nd day. Nice smell, lathers up nicely. If your hair is thinning, it's worth trying it out.

I used this today for the first time and what a surprise ... after drying my hair the thinning areas were less noticeable and my hair especially my fringe looked fuller and less see through ... I felt more confident and less self conscious ... even my husband agreed ... before I used a Volumizing dry shampoo between washes to create a thicker look but this shampoo does the job without creating the dryness the dry shampoo caused ... As for lathering up it was good for me ... but I always wash my hair twice ... so I used a normal shampoo first then the Plantur 39 and left it for 5 minutes before rinsing and applying my Aussie conditioner ... I cant wait to see the results after long term use and am hoping for more improvement ... I dont expect miracles in my 60s but anything that can make me feel less self conscious has to be a good thing .... Im hoping to start HRT soon and Im hoping the combo of the two will change the menopausal loss for me ... for me price wise ... yes its not the cheapest but worth it for the self confidence boost it gave me

I don't know how this will go long term. I have only used it a couple of times, as my hair is thinning (I am 66 female),I noticed a minute amount of hair loss on towel after I have carefully rubbed it over my hair to get that worst of the water out. It states that usage should begin in early - mid fifties, but I don't think this was around 10 years ago? Anyway, I am fortunate not to suffer from some of the examples of hair loss people have posted, but don't want to reach that stage if possible. My hair is definitely thinner now, and after using Plantur 39 I found it DID not tangle my hair (I do have short hair though), and it did leave it feeling in good condition. I don't know about thicker, but definitely in good order. I will finish the bottle, and am glad I got it now, I was going to cancel the order. I don't know if conditioner is necessary, I certainly wouldn't need to use it, BUT although my hair is thinner, it is not necessarily overly brittle, and not dry. A little goes a long way, and lathers up well.

I suffer from post natal hair loss and have quite a few weak patches of hair. I've been using this for about a year and I can see a slight difference, more in the volume and thickness than length. Would recommend a try if your suffering from thin hair

This is a re-order, I Love this Shampoo, my hair was brittle & thin and breaking, 1st use my hair loved it after the wash it went shiny and felt in better condition, over time my hair feel much better its still thin but better, not been 4 months but it feel looks its thickening, I don't feel as self conscious of that fact, my hair also seems to be growing faster and repairing, on the whole its worth a try, yes its more expensive than I would pay for my normal bottles, but I am not going back to them.

I've used this shampoo for just over a week, I have PCOS and experience lots of hair loss. The shampoo already has helped with reducing my hair loss. I usually have to wash my hair every other day due to my hair getting oily quickly, this shampoo unfortunately has made my scalp more oily and I can't really wash my hair every other day with this shampoo. I probably won't buy this again as it doesn't work for what I'm looking for but it does what it says!

This shampoo and conditioner, combined with Regaine Foam, has really worked on my age related thinning patches. Very impressed. "Almost bald" patch where my fringe separates from the rest of my hair has now gone. I also use the purple version for silver hair when it is available. Very good value as it is concentrated. Only a small amount is needed. Foams up abundantly. Can leave my hair feeling slightly dry so I use a conditioning mask fortnightly.

It's a nice shampoo, doesn't seem to be doing much to stop my hair loss.
